Yes yes yes, as we all know it always comes down to personal preference, so rather than this be a classic case of the which is better question people always ask, im lookin more to conduct a sort of pole. So whats up guys, ur shockers are powered by_______________. And what led u to ur choice? What is it u like about the board in ur shocker? By the way, this doesnt have to be limited to just virtue or hater, could be any of the after market boards. Im sort of leaning more towards the hatred board because i dont see a lot of shockers out there with em, mostly virtue. So have it guys, whats in your guns?

I enjoy Tadao, but I have nothing bad to say about the Virtue boards I've owned. The Blackheart board wasn't very impressive

Yea i was liking the little extras that virtue has, but hater does have that little added cool factor to it. Might just be going with virtue then, simply because of the support.

Betwern hater and virtue theyre pretty much the same. The only real difference is virtue redefined can be capped in .5ms increments so it can do 12.5the hater boards only caps to the milisescond so it caps at 12 instead of 12.5.

APE has by far the most features and settings. IMO hyperdrive/lucky have biggest cool factor with the addition of an aftermarket upper board that puts the multi color led on the power button instead of tucked away inside the grip where you cant see it, but those are tough to find.

Virtue made a whole line of SPEEDY2 boards. I've for one for the shocker...... ;-)

Virtue redefined is what I use because of the lifetime warranty and they are always at the events BY MY area.

arent virtue's speedy 2 boards rare now? they were a pretty early release, I know they also released a speedy chip for DM's too. based on the feedback here, im most likely gonna go with virtue, on account of the .5ms adjustability, and of course the lifetime warranty and upgrades n such. I must admit I wanted the hatred board mostly because you dont see many people with them, I just wanted something different and apart from what most people have. And of course, the name, lmao. the board is gonna go into my tonton. I wanna get a lurker bolt for it too. anybody know if that bolt is a lilited run, or will they continuously be manufacturing them?

Virtue are great ; features are the same as tadao, but they last longer ( containers are filling here with dead screened yakuzas ) and their service is excellent

I bought a Hatred board simple because you can’t go wrong with paying $40 for a board. The first 5 firing modes work and store normal, however I can’t get any of the higher number modes to store. An example, when I set the firing mode to 6, “PSP Style Ramping”, the board won’t store the setting. When you turn it back on and check it the firing modes goes to 9, check it again 16. It does this every time no matter how what I do. Again, 1-6 store fine. When I contacted their costumer service they sent out a new board immediately, no questions asked. Unfortunately, the new board acts the same way.

Virtue has more options and more versatility to what it can do. Their warranty can't be beat either . I personally thought the hater was a little simpler to set up an adjust though and my virtue boards with redefined codes both drain batteries bad while sitting idle though. If they sit for about a week or two then there isn't enough juice in the batteries to play one full day. I use rechargeable batteries though and before anyone tells me to send them back, I already have twice and they still drain batteries. I don't understand it and they told me the boards shouldn't do that but we.

My predator board does this. I have just gotten in the habit of removing the battery after a days play and then putting it in the morning I play..Not necessarily ideal, but not too big a deal either.
