Which reminds me, I need to get the cold brew coffee going for my mocha porter. I hope to bottle it Sunday so its ready for the holidays.
Drinking maudite and prob a duvel after this. Having a shandy bar across the street from my work is both a blessing and a curse.
Packys is going to have to wait until tomorrow, seeing as I don't want to deal with rush hour traffic. Gonna see if I can reserve another brick of westy 12 to send around to yall.

Scored a bottle of Life and Limb batch 2, at the good bottleshop around here, last one they had too. Then I went over to Marble Brewery for their Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout release and had a snifter of that, and their Oud Bruin, both were damn tasty. Then picked up a bottle of the Stout and filled my 32oz growler with DIPA.

Nice, hopefully that life and limb 2 was stored decent. I've got one in the cellar still, getting nice and old.

Oh yeah, this is a good bottle shop, they have a dedicated fridge for cellaring beers. Once they get The Abyss in they're gonna bring up some cases of past vintages, going back to '09. Gonna try to put a vertical together if I've got the money to do so.

I picked up a bottle of Chimay's 150th Anniversary Trippel today, pretty stoked on that.

Lucky, I've been looking for that one but haven't any anywhere.
Sipping on some Stone Vertical Epic tonight, very tasty stuff. Really heavy on the spices this year for sure.

Drank a celebration and now working on I Hardcore you which is a collaboration between Brewdog & Mikkeller. It's not bad and I should have bought something else in its place. still worth a tick on BA though. Now I need to figure out what I'm drinking next...
EDIT: working on some Mad Meg from Jester King. it's good but it isn't earth shattering.

picked up my eclipse and got sticker shock on a couple bottles that I tacked on. they were 25, 30, & 35 each. I also got got to try their belgian strong dark that was aged in a brandy barrel. it was served way too cold so I had to let it sit and warm up. now I have hellaciously bad storage issues but almost half of what I got is being sent to other people.

I picked up two bottles of the EC20, Grand Cru and Mellow Corn because I was yet to get a positive answer if he wanted any. He didn't so now I have a spare of each so I now have 26 bottles of Eclipse variants. with 6 heading to Ohio and 6 heading your way. I'm so screwed. I got three of everything they had futures for but I got five of the Rittenhouse Rye due to me being a ******* when ordering but not wanting to cancel the extra two bottles.

Long day yesterday, brewing 50 gallons of the stout we're barrel-aging. It was cold and windy, but made better by drinking New Belgium's Snow Day, Boulevard's Saison Brett, and DogFish Head's Sah'tea.

drank Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel which was really good and quite smooth. Not a hint of alcohol as well which was scary for the ABV

welcome ranger!
i avoid pumpkin beers at all cost, and i think the punkin supply around here has diminished if not disappeared. ill know for sure in an hour or two.
also DB and AB arent IPAs theyre technically american strong ales and idk if sublimely self righteous even fits any category's guidelines. if anything it would be an imperial black ipa, but its all semantics. awesome beer is awesome beer and need not be categorized.
off to the packy. update later.

Pretty much agreed on all accounts. I homebrew, and sample the local stuff, I don't get caught up in styles, types, etc. If it tastes good, I drinks it Also have to agree with you on the flavored beers, I really just want my beer to taste like beer. I've just heard soooooo many good things about DFH Punkin that I would love to give it a try.
Love 90 min as well, have not been blessed with a bottle of 120 though. Way stronger right? I've gotta guess it isn't as smooth/balanced as 90....90 has to be one of my favorite IPAs

90min is still an IPA, 120 is just on a whole different level. just a **** ton of everything.
also if you want actual good pumpkin beers, seek out Southern Tier Pumking or shipyard Smashed pumpkin.

Sale on Sierra Nevada at the local packy, $10.99 a 12er. Got a 12 of Celebration and a 12 of SNPA in cans.
I gotta say I've got mad respect for SN. Maybe not the most extreme/hyped beers in the world. But so damn solid, and reasonably priced. Not too mention amazing availablity.
Also picked up another bottle each of Double Bastard and Vertical Epic.

drank DFH Chicory stout and also offered that if my brother pays for the beer plus shipping I'll let him have anything I'm essentially swimming in. I'm not sure if it's really for his use though since I shot him a text and he asked me to e-mail it to him.

Shock top Belgian White. A very nice smooth wheat ale.
Got a 12 pack on sale for 10.99 at walmart. Only 3.2% though.
