Spyder Pilot ACS bolt

What would the better bolt for the ACS be? It's a Delrin bolt, stock currently. I'm looking to upgrade so I can throw a Virtue Board in it. Think I should upgrade the striker too?

Unless you're very attached to the gun, i'd personally save your money and buy a better gun thats actually worth upgrading. Spyders are great for the occasional rec-baller. It gets them out on the field and enjoying the game. But i feel they arent worth throwing more money at. Hell, you can pick up a modded Ion for 90-120$ pretty easily. I'd recommend that all day.

Unless you have issues with the ACS bolt chopping a lot of paint, then other bolts won't have a large enough impact to consider purchasing.

The virtue board will only increase the settings that can be fine tuned as well as offering more firing options.

If you're looking for consistency, i'd recommend picking up a new front block (because the stock one doesn't have ASA threading) and a regulator.

I'm pretty attached. First marker I purchased myself. Works great. Lighter bolt will always help out. I am the occasional rec baller actually.

What about this one? http://www.ansgear.com/Shocktech_Spy...boltredwht.htm

The bolt is for a Fenix, and even states its not for "Late model Fenix'"... I know spyder bolts are typically compatible with other various spyder markers, but i'd ask customer support if it will even fit.

That being said, you're really not going to see much of a difference in performance.

any delrin aftermarket bolt that is top cocking will work. i recommend a bolt that has the two orings on either side of the exhaust port on the bolt.
