I just picked up a used G6R and while it looked great the guy I bought it from didnt have much info to help me get it dialed in. Coming from a mini this is a bit more complicated.
Got it home and it shot OK but kinda inconsistent. After some heavy use of the search function here I was able to adjust the LP and HP, print the manual, discover that I should only use my stubby that has the ELOP Myth reg on it and also discovered that I can adjust the ninja reg on my other tank so its safe to use with the G6R. I am playing 2moro and I would have put my standard pressure tank on this gun not knowing better. Saved me some headache there. The bolt pin was also popping up when I was firing/tuning it and I thought I had a serious problem but a quick search taught me I was a dingus and wasnt putting the pin down in the correct place.

So I figured I would make this one one post to say how much this site helped me out.

Oh, one question, is the alan bolt on the back of the ram a bizzare size or am I missing something? I couldnt find a key to fit that one, not that I need it off right now.

If you have a full size SAE hex kit, you will have every size to take it apart.

It's a standard size though that size escapes me at the moment. I have a pretty small Allen kit and it had the right size. Manual should have a screw chart in it.

Also good job for helping yourself. Because you did al the work to learn your gun you now get to make fun of all the lazy idiots who wonder why their gun shoots like **** because they didn't bother to read the manual.

yep. my kobalt set didn't have that size for some reason and I ended up buying a single piece off amazon. it was annoying, but now I've got a nice ball end to work with.
