Announcing: Atlanta Overdose Team Tryouts

May I introduce the Atlanta Overdose

Are you interested in becoming a tournament player? Do you have the skills? Atlanta Overdose is looking for some people to join our D5 and D4 Lines

If you are we Are looking to hold a Tryouts to find the perfect candidates to join our Family for the 2013 season

This season our goal is to make a major tournament splash

We are looking for about 5-8 new players so we can fill 2 lines

If you are interested in Playing tourney ball with other new players to tourney ball this is your chance.

Some of current line up will be evaluating your skill and sportsmanship when you play.


WHAT: Atlanta Overdose tryouts
WHO: PLayers looking to join in on the toruny circuts
WHERE: Nitro Paintball Canton
WHEN: JANUARY 12, With first team meeting on the 13th
Time: check in at 9:30-10:30. tryouts starting at 10:45
COST: 40$ (Case of paint, All day air, Entry fees included) you have the option to upgrade you paint on the field for as little as 5$!!!
since this is being done by Mario, I would really appreciate if you bought your paint from him for this event. It is through his kindness we have such a great deal on stuff

Requirements are:
Your own Gear
A willingness to play paintball
Be a good person

Our philosophy this season is hold a large roster of players that way at any given event enough players will be able to fill a line to go play.

This tryouts will be airball and random teams. We want to see how well you handle yourself on an airball field under pressure. After some games we will start pulling people aside to chat with them. We don't care if you get shot out. We care that you played correctly.

We look forward to this tryouts. The current team members will be wearing Jerseys on the day of so we can easily be identified.

We have 5 People interested now. I will begin making Calls

So the tentative date is January 12 with first team meeting on the 13th.
I Stress that this is tentative and may change but its a further lock in than some time in january.
Nitro or dosser will be decided tomorow.

we hope to practice once or twice a month. and 1 event every 2 or 3 months.

all members of the team will get a discount for practice days. its something like 40-45$ for a case of paint and all day air and field usage.
The actual cost depends on the deal we agree to with the fields

I would be cautious posting what fields are charging. You want to protect your teams relationship with the fields.

This is not a discount price. This is the price at day of tryouts. I am not saying any special prices. That is strictly between the team and the fields

ok well i will def. be at try outs this will be my first team but i have been around xball an five man for years working in the pits just have not had time cause of kids an school but now im done with school an my kids are old enough i can leave them with thier mother an her not pull her hair out. I am super fast played baseball my whole life an college ball as well know the rules an what not an really looking forward to show you what i ca bring to the team.
