Hehehe, brings up memories of telling the 5-0 to **** off and catch some real criminals when I was testing the efficiency of my shocker. Needless to say they brought me back to the station in cuffs.
I'm a little concerned with the mehh numbers people are getting on this bolt. I swore off shockers when I drained a 70-45 shooting 6 pods and a loader at a regional event and got benched. "Did you fill your tank before getting on the field?" Yeah... ****ing shocker...
I still have my 70, I need this bolt to get 8ish pods and a loader.

Same here. I'm hoping it's just o-ring tolerances and break-in time. Got the dwell fown to around 10 so hopefully next time at the field I can get an idea of actual efficiency.

Bloodlines tolerances are atrocious. Sorry.

I remember a bit ago someone mentioned interesting flow patterns found when they cleaned after using the eigen bolt. I took mine apart this morning to clean before a day of play and noticed this pattern on my bolt guide.......
Very interesting.....

This. Bloodline guides are notorious for bad tollerances very hit or miss. I had cs900 turn down the oring glands on mine to remedy that same problem and its worked fine ever since.

Thanks guys for all your help! Much appreciated. I'll just stick with the one that came with my shocker. I just noticed it has a finger groove for tooless disassembly too

I had decent results yesterday myself - minus some shootdown due to the black stuff like in the pic above. I shot about 7 1/4 dye locklids of a full 68/45 and still had 1100ish psi left after.

Those are incredible numbers. What kind of o-rings are you using? My bolt guide o-ring monkey buna nitrile ones have a lot of friction against the eigenbolt.

International orders HAVE shipped, you just don't see a Paypal click-n-ship notification because it's through Stamps.com
Also, great results, you can really hear how short the valve is dwelling in your gun

lurker, as a fellow engineer I wish we could have a 10 minute conversation at a field where you could point out what to listen for. that's sick.
I think I'm gonna need to play around with other orings for my hybrid bolt guide.. there's a lot of friction from both of the 012 orings. the ones that are included are 011, right?
also, I believe it's "aye-gen" not "ee-gen" based on American physics professors pronunciation of eigenfunction

Yes it's Aye-gen.
You should hear a snappier sound. You still have that low thump that shockers make, but it's quicker and thus less of a thud and more of a low pop. Essentially it's a stronger version of the noise you get when you're running out of air.
The guide rings provided are a softer 12 I believe. I tried 11's and they were too small (by a lot). You should try putting some really tight fitting 12's on the guide with some lube or even a little polishing compound and running it through the bolt in your hands. That should help clean up the inside of the bolt and make your tolerances better.
