would it be possible to put in a heli-coil to fix that horrible mess? hell you could probably just JB weld a barb back in. it'd be ugly, but as long as it didnt leak from around the barb i see no reason why it wouldnt work.

seriously....its pretty hard to screw up a trilogy.

looks like a bone stock competition model. the regulator is adjustable but you have to take the bottom cap off to do it, lpr is adjustable but you have to take it off too lol. basically they were designed to be set and never need tinkering with again compared to "normal" cockers. they're pretty good shooters, cheap but made really well. with all the other stuff it was a good price at least, basically free lol. hopefully you can get it fixed. if you decide against the eblade route you could make it a pump instead.

You could always pump it if you just want a spare to mess around with for like 25 more dollars, or you could get the eblade for around 150 for a full E1kit, but at that price I would just save up more money and just get a gun that is already ebladed

EDIT: that e2 from doc is totally worth it, I say if you have the cash for it buy it

Okay. I don't have the money for the kit right now but maybe in the future ill keep my eyes out. A pump would be a pretty cool alternative though. I sent it off to addicted2dunes to check it out and possibly fix it. About how many bps would I get with the eblade? It would probably better to use at the field than my A5 with response trig.

if you had an e2 or zero-b board in the eblade it has uncapped semi auto, and 15bps capped ramping, and you can lower the rof to whatever you need. which is totally more than you need since 12.5 is the limit now. eblades also have lcd screens. they're pretty nice.

the E1 boards only have semi auto.

and yea, that one linked is a good deal, ones in that good of shape with the tin box tend to go closer to $175-$200. but for a full e2 kit in good shape but no box $150 is a good start.

Ok sounds like a pretty decent gun with the eblade on it. My concern is would I be better off using that money in investing in a newer gun or putting that onto my gun? It came with a empire electronic hopper too. Kinda looked beat up but I think there are rebuild kits for those. It's black and sparkly.

You arent investing anything in the gun really. You can buy the parts, put them on the trilly, upgrade the platform and swap on the grip..

What do you mean? I see it as I can throw money into the autococker or put it towards a newer electronic gun.

Or you can hack it to pieces and mini the front and rethread it to accept a normal cocker banjo bolt and buy all the front pnues. Not the easiest or cheapest way to go but definitely unique. I am almost done with mine. All of the above and halfblocked. Sorrry to hijack just giving options

That is entirely your decision. However my 'newest' gun is an old 05 RaceGun HalfBlock and a 2k5 Alias Abomb Timmy. They can keep up with any newer gun..

Okay that was my concern. I don't mind something older or anything. I don't play competitively, just for fun. But I want to be able to hang with everyone.

For everyone following this thread, here are the issues:

Barb removed and self tapper installed
3-way hoses need to be replaced
3-way shaft needs to be replaced (sticky trigger was caused by self tapper being ran in and grinding on 3-way shaft)
Cocking rod is bent and I urge it be replaced
Barrel is not correct for gun, not sure what it is but it is not autococker threaded.
May possibly need an O-ring rebuild once I gas it up and find out

All is good now:

JB Welded a new barb in
Filed and repaired 3-way shaft
Replaced 3-way hoses
Honed and polished 3-way housing
Replaced 3-way O-rings
Tuned her up to shoot 280 fps
Replaced bent cocking rod
Installed beavertail

Works awesome!

Well, now that I have a working gun. The barrel he gave me isn't the right one any suggestions for a good CHEAP barrel?
