Given the tank with wrong regulator...

So I made a large order the other day... One of them was a Guerrilla Air tank with G2 regulator. When I received it and I inspected the package. I noticed that my tank did not come with G2 regulator. Called them up and explained the situation... They told me to send them a picture of my tank along with invoice, so I did. I received an response saying that I am right and it is not the G2 regulator and that I should contact Guerrilla Air directly because they supplied them with that tank. So I called GA and their manager spoke with me saying that they will contact the dealer directly and see what they can do and that they don't make the G2 regulator anymore because a new one is coming soon.. Now I gotta twiddle my thumbs until they figure how to solve this.

Shouldn't the dealer just given me the replacement directly since they are the one who messed up by sending me a different product from what I ordered? Why are they giving me a hard time over 50 bucks regulator when I spent 2 grand?

You answered your own question in your post.

The dealer doesn't have the replacement, they only got what Guerrilla sent them. Sounds like Guerrilla messed up and they're trying to figure out how to fix it.

I do agree that the stores' first priority should have been to get things settled with you right away, and then deal with GA themselves so it doesnt keep you waiting.

If the store doesn't have the right reg they can't give you it regardless of whose fault it is. If it's out of stock and GA doesn't have any, well there isn't a whole lot they can do.

You might have better luck just trying to swap the system for a different one

Who did you guy it from? Since GA does not have anymore G2s, I would expect the store to replace your tank with another one with the right reg (I am assuming that the one that you bought was not the last one that they had). They can figure out a replacement/credit policy with GA.

Check to see what their return policy is.

The bottom line is, you ordered one thing from them and they sent you something different. You shouldn't have to take it up with the manufacturer. Maybe they should remove it from their god damn online store.

Don't allow them to tell you to pretty much pound sand.. You didnt place your order with the manufacturer did you? No. You placed it with them. They sent you the wrong thing. Just because they are too ****ing lazy to update their site with the correct information (I'm sure that as a consumer if they had a disclaimer on their site about the status of G2 regs or the fact a newer one is coming out, you wouldn't of purchased the one you "thought" you did); you as the consumer should suffer? No, **** them.

Out of curiousity and to save some of us some headaches.....

Bought it from ANSGear.com and to date their website are still selling the same tank I wanted to buy but was given a different one.

The regulator seen is pretty much the original one with couple revision but is not G2.

Pretty much exactly what I said is what GA is telling you to do?

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to side with them. ANS is at fault here, as stated, bottom line, you ordered product A and they sent you product B. Then, expect GA to clean up their mess.... **** them.

I agree, I thought ANS should been the one who replace it with the right model or offer different tank or even refund. I will hit them up later today. And possibly get the tank I want elsewhere.

This is business as usual for ANS unfortunately.

If ANS refuses to budge call your credit card/bank and explain the situation. They will likely cancel the payment for you and I guarantee you that will get ANS' attention (and if it doesn't, hey, free tank).

From what i've heard, this is typical ANS.... they have been slowly going down hill in my book. I've yet to have anything go wrong with any of my orders... but when something does... rest assured I will get my money back or some free crap.

Ended up refunding the tank and getting it elsewhere. Annoying how some items are ANS exclusive... those gear is why I buy from them in the first place.

*shrugs* Problem solved... not the way I wanted but oh well.

Exactly what happen to me , bought from ANS and they said they would help me on Monday it was on Friday that I called & that Monday I called again they said since virtue pre packaged them they could not help , called virtue and they got me the correct item out free of charge
