6...ouch. It took me about an hour, and then 2 more to do my drivers and ****.
I might paint it if I end up having to pop the mobo to do the cooler. Which it doesn't look like ill have to. |

Building a computer less than a day is no fun. My first build took me a couple weeks to complete... with all parts/components in hand. Had a lot fun building it though.

How do you figure? I built it fast cause I wanted to get back to gaming ASAP so I could enjoy what it's made for.
I had fun, but I treated building it more like if was my job I guess? I don't understand why it would take that long especially since everything is basically drop it in and go.

painting a case is a lot of fun, if time consuming. about a year ago I transformed this awful old OEM hp case into something slightly less pain inducing.

I did case modifications, cable sleeving, and more... Plus... since it was my first build... I still didn't know what I was doing. And with experience... I don't think I , or anyone, can do my first build in a day or within hours. |

That's completely different than a usual build. If I was to do something custom like that, I would agree it would take time. I'd say a week or so if you do it in chunks. Also depends on your schedule. Nice rig though ! |

I guess I prefer custom pc builds because it makes it's fun planning the build, and anticipating the finished product. I'd like to do a custom watercooled desk build someday. |
