Too much in here to disagree with.
The only time I've had a problem with my NT was in super cold weather, oh wait, my DM failed the same day. But wait, there's more! The NT came back easier! It was also much more efficient, and not really louder at all.

Oh, and a lot of guns don't have a LPR that are amazing, so I wouldn't go so far as to say that because it doesn't have a LPR it's sub par.

Ive owned plenty dm12's and I cant say they were way quieter than my NT. Different sound signature for sure but overall loudness was close.
Then again I believe I have a special NT as its never gone down and Ill never sell it! I also noticed the can is different in size than the newer nt11's.

Sure, the NT can be more efficient, a couple of pods, yay. If I was stressed about efficiency I'd shoot an SLP g6r and run a 77cu tank.
I've owned a couple of NTs, they worked when they worked, and when they didn't (more often than not) they didn't.
On the other hand, my DM has literally never failed me regardless of weather.
If it DID, I'm MUCH more used to the bolt in the DM, so it's a LOT faster to sort out.
As for your LPR comment, the discussion here was about the NT and the DM, not every other marker in the world that does not have an LPR.
Next, this was between me and Harrison, Blu and Hore added their 2c because we all hate each other (jk, jk), and this OT thread is pretty brutal sometimes.
Finally, I assure you that my dislike of the NT is nothing personal towards YOU or YOUR personal NT.
Have a GREAT day!

Lobs? Shoots straighter? What, are we back to the old mag vs cocker argument?
Haha, ok. It's a paintball.

The biggest difference between the NT and the DM is the lack of an LPR and using plastic inserts to adjust volume on the bolt in the NT.
|
the grip frame is closer the the bolt which makes its look like it shoot far straighter. thus why people say it has a flatter shot. Which i agree it does from the perspective you view.

Seeing as i own both guns and use them both all the time. The arc of the shoots are the same. However i prefer the nt's shot, maybe its because the marker is shorter.
The dm is the gun i grab when im playing tournaments or scrimmaging, i use nt when im just playing to have fun.
|
i feel like the NTs shot goes farther then the Dms shot
If i get a Nt10 it will be my main gun tourneys with that team. But Ill still have my geo 3 incase **** breaks lol

You explain things that you say make a NT sub par, but want to ignore what makes it better? Sounds like someone who just doesn't want to look at all aspects of the gun.

So all you are saying is that you have spent more time learning the core of the DM and did not care to understand the NT core so that makes the DM a better gun.
Great logic.

Again, not willing to make a fair comparison.

No no, I only put arrogant newbies who come into other people's houses and start pointless trolling sessions on ignore.
