Does it really matter? Since you asked, I am a Retired Army SFC that also ran a team up here at Fort Drum, NY. I am from that area and used to drop by to see what was going on up in the North West. I haven't visited this thread since I got back from Afghanistan, a year ago. Paintball has dropped off up here quite a bit and I shut down my team in September because of a lack of players. I still like to see what is going on in the North West and hope to get out there sometime next year. I noticed some guys were *****in that things didn't make sense, hense the comment. Anyway have a good day guys.

Yea cause usually people who come in this thread introduce themselves and then go on to have a great time..... Didn't want to come across all exclusive but when random people who no one knows post in here it kinda gets crazy. They start asking questions about classified ****

But fort drum? I used to live in buffalo. Heard that fort drum was awful. Never been there.

Drum is not too bad, I have been here going on 12 years (I married a local). The worst thing about Drum is it is located in the Communist State of NY. The Paintball scene has slowed down quite a bit in the past year. Even though my team was all Soldiers and Family Members I could not put a 3 man team on the field for two tourneys in a row so I decided to shut the team down. We had been doing local monthly tourneys since 2008 and it was a hard decision to shut it down but in the end, if I can’t make two tourneys in a row it was not fair for my dedicated team members.

I still work for the Army as a DA Civilian Tactical Safety Officer for the 10th MTN so I am around Soldiers all the time and get to deploy with them too.

Do you guys ever wipe? Or just not check yourself? I have been readin more and more through lurking that a lot of people wipe. I personally have never wiped. If I think I might be hit ill call a paint check from a ref or player.

I have seen people wipe. And then proceeded to shoot the ****ing **** out of them.

I did wipe against Trevor but that doesn't count. :nododgy:

Just got back from Ocean Shores, saw a paintball field by there that looks like it was built in '95 and never changed the layout since.
