would spring assist the zick 2 in the back would make it better or would it mess it up

I don't see how it would be possible? Spring mods are for spoolies.

I'm not familiar with DP. With the design of the rammer in the ego I don't see how there would possibly be any room for a spring with the rammer being able to return completely.

you could possibly have one to help the rammer return, i dont see any benefits from that though. the rammer does a lot more work going forward with pushing the valve open, ect. i just dont see any possible gains from it.

the fx needs the spring inorder to return the rammer to its rest position, a fx uses air to push it foward and a spring to bring it back. a ego uses air to drive the rammer forward and backwords

Looks like it would be a slightly lighter valve spring, since the rammer should be a lot lighter than the Zick rammers.
