Redline questions

I've come to a point where I doubt I will buy a nicer marker to replace my axe. It does absolutely everything I need it to, and does it well. Besides, I've been playing more pump now anyways.

That being said, I love upgrading my markers. I'm quite the aftermarket whore.

My question is basically asking for your opinion. Is the redline board worth the $220? I would like to hear from people that have the redline, or at least some experience with it. In other words don't just say no because you don't have it. From what I've gathered, the general consensus is that it is not worth it, but its sooo appealing to me for some reason. So what do yall think?

its really up to you, I had a redline on 2 of my axes and then the stock board on the other 2 ive had. Its nice and easy to navigate through but isnt a must at all unless your one of those that have to change their settings every time they play.

If you change modes often and like to tinker I would say it is worth it. Otherwise the stock is probably working just fine for you. I personally think its handy.

Its nice to be able to switch modes and see adjustments on the fly. One of the guys we pay with will drop from Ramp to Simi when he gets low on paint.

If you switch modes a lot and like to customize everything go for it. The finger grooves are nice but I love the cut out along the front, it grips my leading hand very well.

Plus its one of those upgrades that you'll never need but can't live live without once you have it.

The short version: Yes, it's worth it.

Don't let the anti-upgrade haters tell you otherwise. If you're set on your Axe and know you'll be shooting it for a while (like I am), then it's by far the best upgrade.

The grooves on the sides are great, but the cutout in front improves the grip a lot.

The redline is a very nice upgrade to your axe. With that being said it is just like all other upgrades, it comes down to how much you will use it or if you feel like the 220$ is worth it. I have had an axe with redline and without as well as a few of the other aftermarket LCD displays. All upgrades depend on how useful/important they are to the user and that's for you to figure out.....

P.S. always use a top quality board, I have had problems with the cheaper ones.

after a nice barrel up grade, a redline would be quite useful, unless you are a master at programing the stock board. either a red line or infamous bolt would be a good aftermarket up
