hey man, i removed all the shims from 90 cube tank, to make it lp, but it still blows the oring in my g6r...is it possible the tank still has a higher pressure.

if you have a 2011 g6r, make sure you have the updated pin. That might be the cause of the oring blowing if youre talking about the oring in the asa
I got an SLP reg for my empire tank, but now i want a 77ci dura, where can i get ONLY the tank so i can just swap my SLP reg and put the empires reg back on

Which regulator do you have?

the shorter pin makes the marker starve for air, not overpressurize it.

Ninja bottles, just like a majority of the other companies in Paintball, do not sell bottles by themselves. It has to be purchased with a regulator. However, the regulator does not need to be attached, meaning you can sell the reg off if you like to help recoup some of the costs of buying the complete air system
since you can order a bottle with any Ninja regulator, your post does not help me. In order for me to help you, you need to tell me which regulator you have. not all of the regulators are built the same.
ok, so looked at the catolog, looks like i have the all black adjustable reg, which only goes down to 500 ish? so maybe thats still a bit to high for my g6r. One more question, i have another tank with a ninja pro reg, and its leaking, a few times through out the day i was able to touch the needle and get it to stop, but that didnt solve the full issue, is there something i need to replace with the pro reg?

OK. If you remove all of the shims inside that sit under the large silver coil spring inside, that will drop the pressure down to the lowest possible output pressure the reg is capable of. What I would recommend doing is give the regulator a good cleaning and relube job. Put it back together again and have the regulator pressure tested to see what the output pressure is so you can ensure the problem is not coming from the air system. If it is, it could be that the ball seat on the end of the piston is damaged if your output pressure is above say 500-550psi or continues to rise during pressure testing.
On the pro reg, there could be a piece of debris or something that causes the pin valve at the top to not seal up. There is a small white teflon oring that sits on the inside of the top of the bonnet. degas bottle, remove bonnet, remove piston, push the small white teflon oring out using a small allen key going from the top down, clean pocket with qtip swab and make sure nothing is sitting in there like dirt, put the white teflon oring back in upside down and then reassemble. Should take care of the issue. To be honest, if you get a pin valve leak, attach the bottle to your marker. The air will leak into your marker and as long as your marker is not leaking, the air wont continuously drop.
my ninja 50/ 45 seemed to be making a "clinking" noise. I realized that the metal in the fill nipple is loose and sliding back and forth whenever i shake the tank. is this normal ? ive never realized or noticed it before

Yep. This ^^^ . I bet you that you didn't really notice before because you had air in the tank and now that it is empty, you can hear it .

I am wondering if there is anything wrong with my fill nipple. Every time I go to get my tank filled, me and the guys who work there have to twist and turn and wiggle the hose off of the fill nipple. It's very hard to get the hose on and off. It's not the hose because everybody else has no problem. Thanks!

That no real issue. If it leaked or didn't fit at all there would be an issue. I'd look at cleaning the steps on the nipple for dirt or debris that might be making it bind.

Hard to say what the problem is without seeing the QD fitting they are using. We make all of our parts according to ASTM specifications so our products work with others. If there was an issue with manufacturing, I would assume we would have heard about this problem from numerous customers that bought fill nipples made from the same batch.
Hey Dan, unfortunately that regulator bonnet will not work on your Pro reg. You need to get a Pro bonnet for that. Contact Ninja or your local shop to see where you can get one.

Are you certain that all the shims are the thicker red ones and not that the red may have rubbed off on one of the thinner silver shims? Compare the thicknesses to make sure as the standard adjustable reg should only have 2 thicker red shims. It is possible though that in a rare case 3 red shims were required to adequately hit the output ranges though.
To answer your original question, yes, removing one red shim should put you at the mid-range output of about 550-600.
