I'm looking to see if an iPad mount in a new truck will be worth it.
It will end up costing me a bit more than buying a truck with built in nav would cost, but it could do sooooo much more.

A guy I work with has an Ipad mount in his. I just have a Garmin mounted in front of my Speedometer that way no one can see it in a parking lot scan.

That's pretty smart, I got in the habit of always putting the gps in the glovebox and the mount on the ground when I delivered flowers.
The iPad thing is pretty cool, I just don't know if I would want to pay the 20-80 dollars a month for data, I honestly have no idea how much I would use.

We don't have Internet at our house, it's way to expensive but my mom is about to make double what she does at her current job if she gets the job she interviewed for.
Well see when the time comes. I don't even have a job at the moment.

My mustang is a 2004 with almost 109k on it. Running really well still, no issues at all aside from the regular stuff that needs to be replaced after a while(alternator, some fuses that were busted when I got it, and tires).

I'd drive a new Ram, they're actually very nice.

To each their own. If I needed a truck, I would be happy with either an F-150 or a Ram.

If Chevy combine its numbers for the 1500 and the GMC 1500, (the same ****ing truck just different price tags and slightly different names) I think they'd compete with the ford numbers.

That's what happens when you split the bill. Imo, GM should do away with GMC and bring back Pontiac as their dedicated sport division.

They shouldn't even be here as a company as far as I'm concerned.
They should have seen the recession coming (like ford did) and done things to downsize and make sure they would still be around. Not borrow millions of dollars from the tax payers.

Im going to order my Raptor here very soon hopefully. Trying to recover financially from the events over the past few months.

You mean the bailout that they have already paid back?
Also, they are the global auto sales leader after last year, so I don't think they really care if the F150 is the "best selling truck" in America.

I don't care that they paid it back, the American people aren't banks, if I wanted governments to have partial stakes in companies I would go to north Korea.
Besides you know why they needed a bail out and not a loan? Because they were a big *** risk, and no bank was stupid enough to give them a chance.
And we were talking about trucks sweet cheeks not all vehicles.

No, you were talking about companies. I was simply saying that GM doesn't care if Ford outsells them in one line, when they outsell everyone in total vehicles. (Although it looks like Toyota might take that back this year). And why does it matter who they borrowed money from as long as it was paid back?

Because a government isn't a bank. They aren't supposed to give out our money to a private money making institution.
