Can you use the unjamming tab on the rotor to feed if the batteries die?

No. But the battery life is insane on the rotor, you will likely not run out often. Figure 20-30 cases on a set of batteries. Not like a few years ago with the vlocity and halo sapping them dry in a couple weekends.

20-30 cases?.... That's pushing it, a Rotor will get about 18-22 cases.

Depends on the battery. Use cheap batteries and it wont last as long. Use nice rechargeable batteries (2000mah+) or duracells and you'll get what I get.

Even duracells...
Then again, this is in a situation where it's not the FULL amount of time usable but when it starts to show even the slightest signs of the batteries dying.
