Nobody here said anything remotely anti-self defense. Self defense means somebody is attacking or is definitely about to. It doesn't mean that when somebody taps on your windown you get to point a gun at them, much less shoot them in the face. Especially from within the safety of your car. A motorcyclist pulling up next to you and tapping on your window is not a threat. If you don't want to deal with them yelling at you that's fine, just keep your window rolled up and ignore them.
Your example wasn't even relevant to the discussion...
|
Someone tapping on your window and then yelling at you like a fool, especially if you didn't do anything to them or were not aware that you did anything to them, is a threat. Sorry but facts are facts, and you'd be stupid to not have a weapon for self defense ready in case the worst case scenario were to happen. The same guy tapping on your window yelling at you could be the same guy shooting at you while going down the freeway, and that is my point; one day you will learn the hard way.

They're a size 50 which on sportbiketrackgears size chart worked out to a 14. Just get whatever one matches your shoe size on their sizing chart if you're going to be buying the smx5 boots. I can't speak for another make or model of boot though.

Yeah. I was looking at their mounts. But I was hoping someone would have some personal experience with them. They have a couple of different styles. I'm leaning towards their Universal X-grip model.

There's a plug sort of thing that goes down into the tree and you cut to fit...its really cool actually. Then has a ball on the end to fit all of the mounts they sell.

Pure's area really aggressive for the street. I dont see any need to run them unless you are doing a trackday a month or more. I'd go with road 3's, angel ST's or the sport touring from bridgestone.

I use a RAM Aquabox with a charger in it.
Faces me pretty much square on.
And I just take the actual box out when I'm not using it, and leave the arm mount sitting on my bars.

Pretty much whatever 10w-40 motorcycle oil. The suzuki synthetic is reasonably priced if you want to use that but it comes with conventional.
