Yep, but the finish is dust vs yours which is gloss. If it was me I would get a new one in the gloss black finish.

So I thought I had an asa issue. My green one wouldn't hold pressure after consecutive shots, the second black one is a replacement that seized at the threads with a tank, so finally I bought an on/off empire asa like its used on the axe.

I tore down, cleaned, and relubed my bolt. I then plugged in my black and green asa's and had the same results. Out of 120 balls shot, most were +/-7 our less within 280 fps. Could a dirty bolt affect sustained pressure? I also pushed the black one at 18 bps without issue but it locked threads again with the tank. Any advice with a new asa that locks up with a tank? Can it be the tanks fault?

With 3 asa's I'll sell one if anyone is interested. I have a olive green one that held pressure and doesn't lock threads so PM me.

Now i've upgraded everything EXCEPT my eyes. I have...
1) Shockwave board, backup Optimus
2) CP Rake trigger
3) Luker Bolt
4) Stock grips, backup Virtue
5) Stock feedneck, backup black empire feedneck
6) On/off ASA, backup stock asa,

Are upgraded eyes worth it?

Started a remote line and does it make it easier to snap shoot and move. I wear my belt upside down and the line comming out uptop.

My current layout is a V3 mini, olive green, with Lurker Bolt, On/Off ASA, CP Rake trigger, Shockwave board, and upgraded o-rings. I have a 10x o-ring kit and 2 to 3 of every part for the mini. I'm now running the following barrels...

1) Deadly Winds Fiber 14"- Best barrel I've played and accurate as an arrow.
2) Empire Apex 2 14" barrel- Fun gimmic barrel I'm playing for a change of pace.
3) Freak 6" tear drop front- I need a freak back still but will have this as a backup to the Deadly Wind should my carbon fiber freak barrel break
4) Stock barrel- I have thought about sending this to Bever Falls to see about boring out for Freak inserts. However I might just leave it stock.

I'm making a custom green rotor with green accents (windows, top, speed feed) and a extra capacty top. I have a bottom that I'm going to use from my current rotor experiment.

Things I'm going to do next...

1) Expand my tank selection. I have a...
- 88/4500 Crossfire carbon fiber - lined up for mid December. That will be my remote line tank.
- 45/4500 Crossfire carbon fiber for a backup.
- 30/3000 Empire aluminum tank

2) Get a Boss bolt and make the Burker bolt. Putting the two bolts together seems like a good idea.

3) Play in a scernario game (500 to 4,500 in size) with the remote line. I'm hoping to have a light winter so I get 3 or 4 games in from Dec to March.

4) Get a freak back. I'd like to get a short back so I have 11" or less barrel.

Update 12/18/12

I picked up a 90-3000 tank that will give me 1,675 shots (by my calculations 90ci x 453 (space to gas volume conversion), shot at 180 psi) at worst. I think I could save using the on/off features of the remote line and asa and get 8 pods and a hopper. Other than "you should have got a 4500, what do you think?

I still have a 45/3000 aluminum and a 45/4500 carbon fiber. I have to trade one for a mask since my i4 is cracked. Its easier to trade a mask for a tank than buy a new one. My place fills of scuba tanks so I only get 3000 psi fills anyway.

Barrels i'm set on. No more for me, other than a freak back. PM me if you have one to sell, I also have a WTB thread.

I'm building a custom dipped skull rotor. Wait and see...

Id suggest looking into a brass inserts. You can get them in small sizes like .675.

And just an FYI, bps readings from a chrono are very inaccurate by the very way they calculate bps. The chrono calculates bps by the time between shots. If you're shooting at 10 bps but two of those balls exit the barrel close enough together, the chrono will display the bps you would have achieved if that increment was sustained. This is if you're shooting semi of course. A recorded soundwave file is the best way to determine true bps.

I have to say I enjoyed playing the setup the other day. Light and remote line wasn't to bad on movement. Think the hopper looks better after the rework and marker fires smoother with boss setup too.

"2) Get a Boss bolt and make the Burker bolt. Putting the two bolts together seems like a good idea."

Read the Lurker Eigenbolt thread. You don't need to buy a Boss Bolt to get the same effect. All you need are one Buna and one OTFE o-ring.

You can also buy just the Boss spacer for like $5, so there was no reason to get the whole bolt if it was going to be a blurker.

Don't knock a remote line till you try one. It'd play it on every market with a tank larger than a 68 ci.

Apex is just a gimmick barrel. I'd stay with my Deadly Winds Fiber.

So I did a bolt shot off with the Boss, Lurker, and stock bolts. Here is what I found...

1)Stock - recoil is present, its a light bolt but there are better out there.
2)Lurker - good bolt, less recoil than stock, better back spacer than any other bolt. But its not the best combination.
3)Boss- Smooth like butter at 4-7 dwell, shots +/- 5 at 265 fps at 150 psi. Almost no recoil.
4)Burker- combination bolt, yielded more recoil than the Boss But was operating at 4 dwell, 140 psi equaled 275 fps so it was more recent but didn't operate as smooth as the Boss alone.

I haven't but if needed I could.

I really don't play anything other than my mini unless it breaks.

Here is the improved look of the rotor. The look was obtained by sanding the current surface and design to rought it into a camo look.

Looks better, IMO.
