DM7-11 which to buy!

So I have owned a dm7 and LOVED it, so simple to take care of.
The dm8 IS HUGE compared to the rest, so I am not very fond of them, but any input is great.
The dm9-11 look very similar, any differences?
I have shot a dm9 and loved it, just wasnt sure if it is worth the 10-11?

Yes the 11 is awesome because of the NT frame. Add in the DM12 angled air hose fitting and it is a really comfortable gun. Cheap too.

It's getting to the point where the 12 is almost as affordable as the older guns.

Unless you prefer the older grip frame just snag a 12.

Get a 7. Maybe Dye makes massive positive changes to the DM14, wait for that? The 7 is fantastic, save your money.

dm7 or dm9

both in my imo best guns / why drop the cash for a dm11 or dm12 when the dm9 and dm7 will perform just as well. put the cash you save towards paint , remember the gun doesnt make you good just cause you spend 1200 or 1300 $

The dm11 is going for slightly more than 400 right now.

There's enough changes to make it worth the extra 50-100 you'll pay over a 7.

Very true. Spend the extra $. A pawn shop in AL is selling a DM11 on ebay right now and its only at $250...

I'd get the DM6 or the DM10 personally.

i just got my dm11 and coming from a dm7, i would agree it is a step up with better ergonomics. I also feel the balance to be better with the hopper on the gun. In comparing the sizes of the bodies they are the same length. But if you compare the bolts, the 11 is almost an inch shorter, which puts the hopper that much closer to your hand. It makes the gun feel shorter and better balanced to me. I really liked my 7 though. I had the bolt polished and had an eigenring. The orings were well broken in and you could push and pull the bolt with very little effort. My 11 has the BW bolt and has some sticky spots when you move the bolt by hand. I guess the orings are fresh and not broken in yet.
I think the other advantage would be in the regs. I think the shims will make for a more consistent gun, compared the springs in the 7's lpr and hpr (i'm pretty sure the hpr has a spring... could be wrong).

dm11, I own one and have nothing but good things to day about it. The way I look at it is it shoots like an older dm, but feels amazing in the hands due to the new frame.

Also look into dm12's since they can be found pretty cheap atm

yea I can see everyone's points. Vegard- the weight of the dm6 is just off for me, not heavy in all, but almost front heavy with a loader on.

I didnt know about the bolt size difference in the 11, thats pretty nice too, and I do LOVE the new dm12/13 design, after the Christmas $$ from everyone (told everyone I wanted something too expensive for anyone to buy so I wanted money to put towards it lol). So MAYBE a dm12.

12 if you want to drop a bit of cash. Stick with the 7 if you are considering the 8 (which you aren't) or 9-10.
Our local shop owner always raves about the DM7.

I had a dm9 and it does have some barrel rise when shooting. I shot a dm7 and it doesn't seem to have much barrel rise at all. I would say the reason behind it is the dm7 is longer and has a longer bolt making it seem smoother shot for shot. Anyone else notice that?

oh yeah !!!

I can't make my mind between 7 , 9 and 12 , they are my favourite, though 12 would take it in the end because they are really affordable now

DM 7 is heavier too that works to level the shot, too.
