With how much *** the Axe kicks, I'm excited to see how the Vanquish turns out. Not too excited to see the price tag, and I'll likely be sticking with my Axe for the next season since I still haven't had a single problem with it.
Also, for winging final class presentations in school.

Do people still pay money for old pro jersey's? trying to figure out what one is worth. have an old Chris Wedge NY Aces jersey that was worn during the 06 Smart Parts World Paintball Championship.. No idea if there's even a market for that stuff anymore.

Blah.
Been talking to a girl for the past few weeks and we've been hitting it off. And she knows I'm a gun nut, but she has refused to go shooting everytime I invite her out (it's hard for her to do anything, as she has a 1 year old son) but she just told me why she doesn't like guns. When she was 16, her stepdad committed suicide with her in the house. I guess she heard everything and was the one to find him...
How in the hell do I get her to accept guns? How do I get her to want to go out camping and shooting with me if she's reminded about that everytime she sees/hears one?
I guess I should add, she accepts that I hold value in guns and they're a big part of my life (I think guns came from the lack of paintball in my life). But I want her to love guns as much as I do, or at the very least go shooting with me occasionally.

You don't. You respect her position. Things might eventually change but you should also be willing to accept that it might not...
You're talking about addressing complex trauma, and having her company at the range is not worth it. Find some other things to do for now.

Oh, I understand all that. I fully respect her position. That's what we're doing. But she's expressed a want to go, but we don't want her to go out and have a flashback, so to speak.

I think you'd be getting off on the wrong foot if you want to change someone even before you are involved. It could be better to accept her position, get what you want, and then bolt. Of course, no gentleman would ever do that .

You're missing the point. I'm not trying to change her. She WANTS to go, because she can see I like it so much and that it'll play a big part in our lives (because it's such a big part of mine). I'm more looking for ways to make her associate good things with guns than that. Like... to where she can be around them and not flash back. Looking for ideas on how to keep her from freaking out. I had originally thought about getting one of those rubber "trainer" guns or even a toy gun and having that out or around when we're together. That way she can play with it and even though we both know it's not a real gun, one can be substituted in it's place. Obviously, I'd want to keep good gun safety practices even with the fake/trainers.
You all get what I'm saying? Not trying to MAKE her love guns. She WANTS to go and she WANTS to like it, for me I suppose. I'm more looking at this from the psychological standpoint.

Dump her.
Seriously, she won't like guns. She wants to be around you. Stop reading into this.
YOU need to be responsible with your firearms. The training gun is a ****ing horrible idea.

My dog was gun shy when I first got her. She needs to be accepting of loud noises to be a duck-dog so I fed her bacon while shooting off my shotgun at the same time. Eventually she began to associate gunshots with bacon rewards instead of fear. Maybe you should start there?

This might seem crazy, but maybe taking her to play paintball would work?
While you are shooting others, it might be disconnected enough from real firearms for her to be alright with it. Just a thought.

IDK dude, the massive psycological underpinnings of such an extensive traumatic experience may only be disconnected through smoked, salty, meat like bacon.

thet your what? 24? now divorced once? (or was it anulled?) you still have alot of life to live before you need to be so concerned with setteling down with someone.. sure shes hot, sure your into each other.. but is she really the one you can spend the rest of your life with.. again? everyone has flaws. the older you get. the more there are, she has a reallly big one that directly conflicts with your everyday enjoyment
let this one ride itself out.. one of two things will happen, either she will adjust and become more accepting of firearms and you can life happily ever after.. or she will never accept your gun crazy ways, and eventually the two of you will break up over it. and then youll find someone else in a couple months that like you just the way you are (crazy amount of guns and all) its not like your NOT having luck finding these women
