Successfully replaced my old DM11 eyes with some new Virtue laser eyes tonight. Besides that being a huge pain in the *** (probably the most difficult and time consuming paintball gun job I've ever done), my eye pipe is now really tight going back into the breech. I've assuming this is because the eyes are brand new and were not the same shape/bend angle as the stock eyes.

My question, is the tight eye pipe common when putting a new pair of eyes in? I noticed also that the Virtue LEDs are slightly longer than the stock eyes.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

make sure ur eye seal is sitting right

Yes it is, the pipe is tight on the sides where the eye LEDs sit.

push back on the eye seal with your finger where the eyes are to that should help

I have done this with all of my dm's and nt's. I have noticed that the 2 prongs on the stock eyes bend right after the eye, where as the virtue eyes bend a little after the eye.

I left the eye pipe in for over a week now and it moves freely as it did with the old eyes. I think it takes a little time for the wires to bend in place.
