Ghetto anno stripping?

What is the best way (preferably with chemicals commonaly available) to strip anno from my vs2's trigger frame?

I don't wanna send it in to have someone do it, so what could I do in my garage.

TYIA

from what i understand that is a horrible idea do not use oven cleaner it will cause the part to pit. I belive have read enough of these questions to confidentally say go to a hardware store and buy yourself some lye. i am not sure what the water, lye ratio is but i am confidant that someone does and will probally post

lol yah i am honestly thinking about taking a hacksaw cutting one of my stock barrels up into like 4 parts and use each way and ask a mod to make a stickey that way people can look at a sticky and see what draino as an example will do to something i am thinking about using. Oven Cleaner not sure what type spray or liquid, Draino, Draino Gel, and Lye like you are supposed to

It will only pit if you leave it in too long/ spray unevenly.
What I did was spray a bunch into a large pot (use a WELL ventilated area) after you have enough in there, dip it for 30 seconds. Pull it out and begin scrubbing and cleaning.

Order yourself some lye from ebay, amazon...ect....Just search lye and pick up what you feel you need. Most of them will advertise %100 lye.

I believe the mix was 1lb to two gallons or three gallons? I really cant remember...something to google.

Like others have said this is not something that takes a lot of time...You will see it breaking through the layer in a few minutes. If it takes longer than 10min usually that means you are to weak or to cold. A good temp is 70-80 deg. The hotter it is the faster it works and is generally more consistent at a higher temp.

The OP has probably long since stripped his trigger frame.
