What color EGO7 triggers? I have a few.
No changes needed but I usually set dwell to 14.

Not exactly a problem, but are all ego eyes the same?
ie will my Ego8 eyes work for my xsv SL66? Just wondering so I can get a trade done.

The standard eyes will work in all EGOs/ETEKs/GEOs.
PE Laser eyes will not work in EGO5/6.

I have a quick question about an 07 ego. It will not shoot above 265-270 no matter what I do. I have tried everything. I checked QEV, different name brand batteries, changed every oring on the entire gun including rammer oring 11, didnt turn asa knob in all the way too, tried different regs, made sure all shims were there, both reg seats are good, LPR is set correctly as well as has all the right parts and correctly put together, I even tried different bolts. The gun has zero leaks and I am hoping it is not the noid. I heard that since it is shooting above 150 it shouldnt be the noid but idk.... What do I do?

Bill,
My teammates ego went down in the middle of a game today. It has been fine before this, and in the middle of the game quit shooting. The solenoid still clicks, the bolt goes forward and back, and i switched regulators with an etek 3, its not the reg.
IF THE DWELL IS UP TO 14 THEN IT WILL SHOOT. Just sounds like a cannon!
Any help with this would be great, again it is an ego6.
I am thinking it is maybe not getting enough air? like a bad qev or something, or is it ok to shoot the ego6 at a dwell so high because i know that factory is 10?

brand new Ego 11....have about 8 cases thru it.....haven't opened the gun since I bought it brand new.....completely stock settings
I wanted to break it in first before tuning it.....haven't had ONE issues ...Chop...NO problems
today I gased it up.....and I heard a small leak ....it's coming outta the little hole on the side on the reg ...the HPR regulator......
before I pull it apart.....what would cause that......
and another question......is that normal for the ego 11's??? maybe 9 cases max thru this brand new gun...??
thx ahead of time

Do any friends have an EGO7 you can swap solenoids with to rule it out"?
Sure your HPR is set to 300psi?

Why would you need the piston? There is no seal in it like previous years. Did you loose or damage it? PM me if you need one.

Things I would do...
- New Energy, Duracell or Energizer battery. The gun needs a good amount of power to run the marker properly. A lessor brand of battery may read fully charged but doesn't have the upkeep to sustain the power needed to run the gun. This is the #1 cause of all issues in an EGO.
- Change #11 rammer oring. Even if it looks good. It will be the largest black oring towards the rear of the rammer.
- Change the #11 oring on the rammer cap.
- Set your dwell to factory (10.0). Be sure the gun is not set on training mode.
- ASA On/Off knob turned in to far? When you add your air system to the gun you want to turn the knob until you hear the initial gas transfer. Do not turn it more then one complete turn more or you will actually restrict the airflow coming out of your air system.
- Check the LPR. Make sure it is assembled and lubed properly. There are 5 pieces within the LPR cap. Adjuster screw, adjuster piston (small silver cup-like part), silver spring, followed by the piston and gold spring (See page 46/47 of the manual). Put the adjuster screw flush to one turn out, see if this affects the velocity at all.
- Check the HPR. Make sure it is assembled, lubed. Make sure there are 16 shim springs properly assembled.
- While you have the HPR apart, check the HPR Piston reg seat. Make sure it is there and not cracked (See page 44/45 of the manual). Perfect pressure would be 325 psi. It can be achieved by properly assembling it then spinning the adjuster screw all the way out and then 3.5 turns in. This will give you the approximate pressure.
- Check the rear QEV. Make sure it is not loose or cracked. Loctite if loose. Replace if cracked.
- Check the airline from the rear QEV to the manifold. Take the hose off the QEV and take the solenoid off the manifold. Blow thru the hose. It should flow freely.
- Check the Solenoid. Make sure there is no physical damage. When a solenoid is coming to the end of its life it will often loose velocity and become very inconsistent. If it isn't leaking, 99% of the time you can change just the rear section.
- Brass valve guide. If you look at the front of teh rammer housing there is a brass guide that is loctited in place. if it starts to unthread it will limit the airflow causing low velocity.

A leak from the SL3 reg is typically one of three orings...
#16 on the inline reg piston
#11 on the inline regulator adjuster top
#8 inside the inline regulator adjuster top
You may also want to try flipping over the seal that is between the adjuster top and adjuster screw.
