We are a new team and will be playing D5 CFOA 5-man.

We are still forming and will be finishing things up through the off season. Look forward to next year!

We are based out of Paintball Central in Rock Hill, SC.

Cfoa hold 8 events:
2012 events:
Rock hill,SC- 4 events- near us
Angier- 1 event- 3 hrs
PBC Greenville-1 event- 1:30 hrs
Tabor City- 1 event- 3 hrs
Greensboro- 1 event- 1:30 hrs.
$500 entry and 6 cases included, would need approx. 6 more so another $300. $800 per event /5 people= 160. Of course less if 6/7 people.

NCXL has 4 events this upcoming year:
Mar 3: Perry, ga- $350- 7man: no paint, $600 (12 cases)/7 ppl= 135
Apr 14: Durham, nc- $500-xball (): same deal $600/8 ppl= 137.5
june 9: lynchburg, va- $500 xball: 137.5 per person
nov: Glory Road (monroe)- 350: 135 per person

So here is kind of how I see, we could try to play a full cfoa season, but even if not, just play the 3/4 rock hill events, and maybe others if we have the funding and practice at the first of each month.
or play the 4 ncxl, but have to pay for gas/hotel/food/other expenses. and then the monthly practice.

I vote for the cfoa, play the first couple and see how it goes, if well we keep playing, if not we take a break, practice, and then the next one at rock hill we play again!

I see 12 cases on your ncxl calculation u will definitely need more than that bud

well from what I was just answered on facebook, we will not be doing ncxl. The ncxl is only novice this year which is d3-d1 players. Not looking for that with my new team. And if we were playing it on the d4/d5 is was supposed to be 5-man race to2. So it would have been close to that, milp was two years ago about 12-14 cases.

Thanks though mike, yea I miss real xball, but wayyy to expensive right now.

Yea i was assuming you knew it would only be novice and it can defintely be expensive but if your looking for a pickup event definitely check out one of the 7 man events its a great series to play good talent pool and lots of fun

yea mike I moved here from georgia, so I know almost all of the adrenaline folks down at big indian. And applebutt, we played the 3man there last week, not sure if you were there. We will be there at the team practice day in january though.

I vote for CFOA seems like something what would be more to our taking as a newer team just getting settled. But also like what Mike1989 said, maybe if we skip and event here or there we can try other things such as pick up events 7v7 kind of stuff.

NCXL is a fun event. Cosa played it this year. I play out of Glory Road when I'm not playing with Breakout. If you're interested in lining up a 5 man scrimmage in the off season let me know.

bishi- I am looking forward to it! I saw yall at tournament of champions and yall were looking solid.
Cosa- I believe ive played again you a few times, cant put a face to the name, but I used to be the team captain of augusta rage(gfoa open) for like 3-4 years before I moved here to nc. I will definitely get with you about a scrimmage made mid january time.

So right now we have me, jeff, justin, and brenden?? If so we still need to find 2-3 more players. 1 at least, but I would like 6-7 players in case of family situations or other things that may occur last minute and prevent someone from making an event.

haha awesome, so jeff you said on the 6th you probably couldnt make it do to the gf coming back in town right? Just depends on when her flight back out is? And brenden cant make it do to his child being born right around that time. We may wanna plan a different weekend then, like the 13th. I know none of us are Mr. money bags, so we will probably only get 2 maybe 3 practices in before that first cfoa. I want one of them to be mainly drills, like laning off break, run and gun, and figuring out where everyone is comfortable on the field. So we probably wont shoot as much paint on that practice.

Her flight goes out at 11am... so i will probably drop her off at like 9:30am... then i can go straight from the airport to the field. Depending on what time you guys decide to get out there i can meet you there. Maybe just a little late, but we can still have most of the day to get some work in if im there by like 10:30. So basically im saying i will be there lol
