Fat Boy Pods???
Does anyone know if Tippmann is going to be distributing the Fat Boy pods? I am looking to order a bunch for my store and can't locate where to buy from.

Just came across this post. I still talk to the old WDP guys. I'll send a link to this thread to them and see if one of them can chime in.

Yes Fat Boy pods are still available.
You can get them from the National Paintball Fields. This is the field that was owned by the guys at WDP before they did any of the Angel Stuff.
info@npfbassettspole.com is the contact info to reach them on.

I'm gonna ask this real quick, what's the hype about Fat Boy pods?
I've had a few at different times and I've always found them very hard to open (comparatively) for a marginal increase of balls for me to toss on the ground.

I always like them for a few reasons. First, the design of the tab to open them. It doesn't stick out because it's recessed and doesn't open accidentally. Second, they don't have a collar with a lid attached. How many times have you seen cheaper pods that have the black collar slip off of the pod. They also seem to be very durable. I've been kicking around some of the same pods in a bag for nearly 10 years.

Yup I still have some original release fat boys kicking around. No problems with them. The odd hinge screw comes out here and there but overall they're decent.
