just got a sl8r in a trade and it wont go above 240ish FPS with the screw out flush with the reg cap it hits 260. i've lubed the reg, changed piston oring

change battery..change reg seal(or flip it) make sure settings are factory.

If it'ss not the battery, check the qev diaphrams.

Make sure the ram isn't made of titanium as well as checking the QEV diaphragms for tears.

with the FPS that you have indicated, your front QEV is torn.. Replace them (its in the manual) and give the gun a good strip n clean just to make it pretty again

for the thousandth time, try a different bolt. the kush bolt is worth evey penny, just buy extra rubber tips. it will fix all your problems. my 07 was doing the exact same thing.
