What are the steps to follow. Where in gods name do I start with actual ROMS. Is there a way to easily back up my content from pictures to text and things like that. I know Google will automatically do contacts and apps so I'm not stressed out about that.
Any help is appreciated.
First download rom manager and titanium backup (pro) for your phone.
Use titanium backup to make a full batch backup and that will save all texts, game data, errrting.
Go to rom manager if you don't already have it and update to current clockwork mod. Then make a full backup.
Now go to rootzwiki or xdaforums or anywhere else and find a rom of your choice for your phone model. Download it and follow the instructions on the page.
Put it into the main directory of your sd card on phone.
Go back to rom manager and reboot into recovery mode.
Wipe data/factory reset > Advanced> Wipe dalvik cashe > Install zip from sd card > scroll to rom and select it and hit yes > let it do its thing > bootup.
Sign in with account. Redownload titanium backup and do a full batch restore.
Wham. I'm tired and no grammar genius. I tried.
