Haha I know you're referring to the bigger ones, those are the ones we were catching the pompano on.
Chris, those worms are 7" long and they are kick *** for a C rig. They have just the right amount of salt to where they suspend really well and because they're made of soft plastic they have a ton of action. I've been debating whether or not to darken the watermelon top pour on the key lime pie. It's a killer color as it is now but just seems a little light to me.

If you plan on going all the way to Texas you might as well go to Falcon.

well the reason for that location was because we had a boat and lakehouse to stay at already. Falcon is on the Mexican border isn't it?
this is just something we briefly talked about but i hope it happens

If you just want to catch fish, yes, squid is perfect. Thing is though, since just about every fish in the ocean is going to go buck wild for a piece of squid, you will end up getting fed up with all the trash fish you catch by using it. I like using live pilchards on the surface for macks/tarpon/reds, live crabs for pompano/permit, and cut ballyhoo plugs on the bottom for snapper/grouper

They look perfect for a c-rig. I love that style worm for dragging around.
If the color works, I wouldn't mess with it, just make another color and call it something else...lol...maybe the darker one could be burned key lime pie. When it starts warming up, I'm going to have to buy a few from you.

Got to start somewhere. After he catches his first in the surf, then he can start to get picky...lol
The bass guys have probably heard of Wired 2 Fish. They wrote a review on a crankbait yesterday, and we are the only online retailer that currently carries it. They put a link to our site in the article, and to say our traffic has spiked would be an understatement
This is a graph of our normal traffic pattern, and you can see where yesterday we had a bunch more, and today, at 9:30, we have already hit our average traffic for the day. Not to mention, we also had a record number of sales yesterday. That was a nice surprise

Haha...we've been trying to build up our stock on their other baits because before that article, no one has bought any of them. We only had a few of 3 colors in stock. I did just put in an order for a bunch more in every color they have, so hopefully I'll get them by middle of next week. If you do decide to get some, put in pbn (all lowercase) as a coupon and it will knock 10% off everything once you put it into the cart.

Chris, I'd be more than happy to sell/trade you for some of those worms or anything else I make. I will be sure to post up pictures of the new baits after Christmas as well.
EDIT: Just read that article on W2F, that is awesome for your site man! That's a bad looking little plug for sure, although a $20.00 price tag makes me cringe just slightly lol.

Sounds good man. When you get your injection molds running, I want to see what else you have, and then I'll get some from you
They are pretty expensive, but one of the few hand carved, cedar plugs I know of. Just don't throw them on light line...lol

lol...the nice thing about them is they are shallow running, so usually you can get them back if they hang up. The only time you would run into a problem is if a fish snapped it off :-/

I want to go fishing so bad The speckled trout bite is on fire here right now. ****ing 80+ hours a work week kills my fishing time.

I'll post up some more ****ty pictures for you as soon as I do a few baits with the new molds. I should be getting a blending block around Christmas as well and will be able to make some pretty sweet laminates as well. Always wanted some Key Lime pie colored flipping baits.

They were named after Rick Clunn and now he fishes with Lucky Strike. Lucky Strike has an RC style bait and its much cheaper. Might be worth checking those out too. They also have a copy of the megabass 110 Id like to try.

I know you have been fishing for a long time so I don't know if you have ever run into any of these plugs or not but my uncle swears by them. He pays a premium price to get them now that they are discontinued. He has an 11 lb 8 oz on the left above his mantle mirrored by and 11 lb 12 oz to the right he caught on back to back casts with the green colored plug. If you ever run across them, I highly recommend picking them up.

I have a friend who loves those things too. The old Larry Nixon Model A's. He will pay crazy amounts of cash for one. I always like to check out old gas stations by lakes when I travel because sometimes you can find some of those old baits buried under ten pounds of dust. Lol
