Hello quest forum, I'm new to this section. I just bought a quest. (Had one a few years back). I was thinking about a ul frame mod. I have no problem with the stock frame I just thought it would be cool. Since the quest runs off a dm5 noir I figured I would be able to use a dm5 ul frame.besides the block I would need for the extra noid space its should just be kinda drop into place since I would use the ul board.

Any input is good!

yea you just need to use a dish or something to get that space. you'll also have to changethe eyes I think?

I'm hoping to have mine done without a tray. Using an Ego solenoid or a Mac 43 solenoid with barbs. Still have some work left on the CNC aspect of designing a plate for the underside of the body, where the noid normally attaches.

Once that is done, the rest should be simple, just wiring up a UTB and maybe custom mount for the microswitch.
