You can increase the solenoid power on the geo 3 that will help out a lot with colder weather.

colder weather will def make your bolt a little sticky. like recommended above you should turn the solenoid up to prevent it from sticking.

Just to clarify something here: The Power function for the solenoid is to help the SOLENOID function better in colder weather. That paramameter alters the way that the solenoid is driven.
While it is true that boosting the Solenoid Setting to High Power will help fire the solenoid correctly in colder weather, we are talking serious subzero temps here where it is needed. Med Power should be fine in almost every instance.
What the cold does to the bolt is a different matter. The cold generally makes the grease thicker, and this casues extra friction and stiction in the bolt system. this means the bolt is slower to react to the input from the solenoid and once it does start moving, moves slower to the front of the stroke.
In most cases, particularly if you are dwell tuning, this will mean that you fire the gun, the solenoid switches on, the bolt starts to move forward, but then the dwell expires and the solenoid switches off before the bolt has time to get all the way forward and fire the ball out of the barrel.
The easy way to fix this is to just increase your Dwell time by a few ms so that the bolt now has a little bit of extra time to get all the way forward and dump the firing chamber and fire the ball.
Does that make sense to everyone?
Jack

Just got a Dark Geo3, previously been playing with an nt10 and ego11. The Geo shoots amazing, much quieter than the ego11 with dart bolt, and definitely has a softer shot. although its a little wider than the ego, it feels a little bit smaller and is almost as comfortable in the hands as the NT with the UL frame. Snap shooting with this thing is real nice

Haven't gotten the time to play with paint, only indoor practices with reballs.
But holy ****.
This thing was +-2 on the chrono with reballs.
And the snapshots where on point due to the perfect ergonomics.

Absolutely amazing. Better than any other gun I've ever had right out of the box. I've owned MacDev, Dye, Ego's, Bob Long, and Luxe and it trumps all. And it will never break!

I love my new Geo. I had some cold weather issues yesterday but quickly learned that this is resolved by upping the solenoid power which takes two seconds to do. The board is 2nd to none and the accuracy and smoothness are simply amazing. Worth every penny!

I love my geo 3 to death. It is the first gun that I have had that I can just pull out of my bag and shoot no problems.

I shot Dye markers for 5 years now. I stepped out of that team and now I can shoot what I want. Picked up a Geo 3 and I'm really impressed.
It's a marker you can take out of your gearbag and always works. If it doesn't you can take it apart so easy, I don't understand why Dye is still in the game. Eclipse does it so much better!

Mine worked perfectly out in the snow and it was freezing outside (28-32 degrees).

What did you have your solenoid adjuster set to?
