It's really hard to afford an entire PSP season... Combo d2/d3 league would allow these guys to play, but keep the competition relatively even.

PSP Rule
2.2.2.3. Any number of Division 3 or lower players may appear on a Division 3 RaceTo-4
roster, plus
2.2.2.3.1. Up to two Division 2 players, or
2.2.2.3.2. Up to one Division 2 player and up to 1 Division 1 Player with a classification
rating no higher than 2952, provided the sum of the classification ratings of the top two
players on the roster is no higher than 3936.
Doesn't this rule make it where it accommodates the d2 and d1 players for regional events?

Then improve as a player and give them some competition.
Seeing posts like this makes me sick. Have an open division for those who want it. If CEP does play the series, maybe some other pro/d1/d2 teams will also play. That sounds like a great thing to me.

If you play, you know I'll have too. We do need to find a solid squad to tear it up with this year tho. I'm down to throw down with the pg/asylum dudes

That would probably hurt the series. We (and probably others) enter teams in all divisions, with a lot of our players coming from up to 8 hours away. We couldnt do 2 weeks in a row.
As stated before, I want to keep the PSP affiliate league just that. We took 3rd in world points last year with the help of MSXL points, and thats why we plan on focusing on this series again this year.
Teams having too many ranked up players, as unfortunate as that is, is part of the game.

If d2 psp was cheap and close it wouldn't be an issue but some people can't afford to miss school or work also all the extra travel that's needed to play a psp I feel open would be the most logical thing instead of breaking up teams

open would be nice, but since some teams that have a number of d2 players cant afford to play the psp season (it is expensive haha) maybe look into making a d2 race-5 division that abides by psp rules for d2. Have the entry $100 more then the d3 entry and series prize half off entry and paint for cup and 2nd gets paint. I could see this bringing in a a good bit a teams with more then 2 d2 players on it and they still get a chance to play a series. Maybe be the first series to do it and then it could expand to other big affiliates.
I dont know just something i thought id throw into the discussion

We are looking at a hybrid D2/3. Also looking at ways to have teams that start out the year D3 and have a D3 roster stay D3 all year. Doing away with the mid season automatic force up a division due to points.

we fell into the D2 squeeze last season and couldn't play together as a team in the MSXL and are too broke to play PSP which resulted in us simply not playing xball. It would be nice to have something local that offers an open class other than SEPS.

So are you going away from the PSP affiliate thing?
