Luxe and reballs
Hi,
Is there any proper way to set up Luxe for reballs in order not to have any issues during trening? Marker should be set up at 220 fps.
TY in advance

I shoot Reballs all winter and what i did is; Feathertouch out, Dwell of 16-18 and most important, a EF-Rod (efficiency-rod).
Since this allows the luxe to cycle at the same pressure even if the velocity drops.

OK coming back with my question. What should I do to lower FPS to 220-230 on my Luxe?
I can only achieve 260 as the slowest FPS.
1.5 luxe.

Did you try the Efficiency rod? It works basically the same as the Geo's inserts I believe (only difference is that you can run it safely at 280-290 fps).
Keep the feather touch screw out, up the dwell to around 18-20, adjust the manifold screw to flush. As well, if you overbore it will bring your fps down. After doing this check what you can run it at.
Let me know how that works out

What kind of tank reg are you using? If its really high, a lower pressure will in turn allow for lower minimum pressure in the reg and therefore drop minimum velocity. Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that would work.

Why do you want it as low as 220 fps? I always play reball and I use the same settings as I do with paint 280-290 fps.Why mess around??
