Ion firing chamber the same as eos?
My friend has an eos and took it to the shop and they told him the firing chamber is broken. He googled eos firing chamber and it came up with ion firing chambers. Are they the same?

No. The regular Ion's firing chamber doesn't have the necessary features that make it a bolt-out-back unlike the Eos. Also, that just sounds wrong. Firing chambers don't just break.

I think its better if you find a way to post the pic of the "broken " chamber
whatīs wrong with the marker ?
Maybe more info could be helpfull to help you out

most likely the plastic insert is damaged or broken. That is what happened to mine your friend will need to get another plastic insert to fix his EOS.

yeap, your insert is damaged, so questions :
1. does it leak ?
2. what is the problem (functional )
I think the part is still usable , so, your friend can use it to make replica (pay attention to the oring size measures on the piece) or 2 replicas or even a replica with a bigger inner diameter so the OP can be reduce to the Ion OP (200is) ...sorry I started to think on how to turn the EOS into an Ion OP (low preasure better with paint , etc,etc,etc)
