so im working on opening a field near Erie and i wanted to get a feel for what people would like out of it. Already made a facebook page for it, Shadow Corps Paintball

You catering to tournament players? We have pentagon that solely caters to rec/new players, and jaw which hosts the landsharks but isn't necessarily an "open" field. Would be nice to get some psp teams in the area. I'm moving back to Erie from Pitt (went to school at pitt, played on pitt and the heroes...would like to lessen drive if I play again).

I know a lot of teams willing to dive to play quality players and on a good field. Please give us some more info if your not focused on speedball send them to Tpa it will be the best practice in the area.

Well at first I was planning on holding off on buying a psp field but if there are a lot of teams that are looking for a good practice field ill see what I can do

To clear that up ... Jaw most certainly is open to the public. Although Erie landsharks do practice at Jaw every sunday, we encourage players to come out and play. Just havnt seen much of a response from the paintball community in the area.

That's great..I miss when paintball was booming in the area and they held events all everything. When Berserk was around haha. Paintball needs to get Advertising back!

Paintball does have advertising back Chris. It's the JT Splatmaster commercials.

One or the other needs to go, preferably the NPPL needs to go away. There should only be one professional league to streamline the sponsors/media/money.

standardization of rules, format, and rights agreements are the only thing that can take this sport to the mainstream markets. Sadly, as long as there is PSP, NPPL, and Millenium all with seperate styles of play and rule books ... hope looks pretty bleak for streamlining paintball.

Erie could use some players for sure instead of a field that deters people from getting better in favor of milking every dime they can.
