Hey just so yall know annotech isnt actually annoing pb guns anymore, they just sent back my dm and cocker which they had for a month with a note that said, "sorry but due to unexpected circumstance we will no longer be annoing pb guns". Huge disappointment because ive had them do other guns with much success. Looks like the dm and cocker will be going to fx.

Not really a loss since ATMF really screwed up two of my orders.

Another one bites the dust. Never thought ATMF would be the next anodiser to stop. I have 5 guns anodized by them an they are excelent. I guess I have to find a new anodizer. Have several guns that I will be finishing soon.

FX and Cuastic. They're relatively new to the scene I think, but they do good work.

I wouldn't worry too much. They are a large commercial operation and by no means have given any indication of going out of business. Their work in paintball was more of a hobby of Kelly's, but she may have decided it was too much of a headache or that it was losing the company money. I imagine they'll finish any work they've already taken, but just won't be accepting new work.

I wouldnt be so sure about them finishing it. They had my two guns for a month and just sent them back last week with no work on them.

Well I'm out on the road with my trainer now. We have been out since the 4th. We're in Florida right now and headin to Zachary, LA with a 500lb load. After that we have a load from there taking us up to Green Bay, WI.
When I get back home I'll be able to afford my DC bill. I do have some parts waiting for me at home too n

When I called them a week ago, I was told I needed to talk to Kelly. I was put through her voicemail. No reply a week later so I called again. They are supposed to send both guns back to me. I asked them to ship them in the different boxes (as they asked me to ship to them) but I am not holding my breathe. I've also asked for the tracking numbers.
I've spoken with Chico Metal Finishing for the 2012 Merlin (solid green with teflon). After I get the parts back from ATMF, I'll take pictures to send to Chico for a quote. I want the V2 LE to be green/black splash--I will talk with another anodizer. Chico stated their business model is solid color anodizing--each piece can be only one color and they can't strip a dust finish to be polished so I may need to find a polisher for some barrels. Chico also stated a 2 week turn around time is the normal for them.

I know this is a few weeks old, but just saw it on the front page of MCB and thought it was pretty cool.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool.
That was posted a few weeks back indeed, but unlike what the post OP said about it being in 2010, that picture was actually taken in 03-04 I hear.

Looks fun, I assume you buy all of those parts and fashion it together?
Simon can you suggest a good DSLR camera, I would like to get my wife something really nice when tax season comes.
