Anyways, Dara is cool, the last set ive heard from him was in early 2011 and he pretty much just played 50% sub focus and then some other popular stuff. Hes probably back on his game though.
I have still yet to see AK1200, apparantly someone in his family had died right before this years starscape and he couldn't come =/ hes a beast though he could play anything he wants
I don't get what you mean, maybe I am just misreading it. Anyways I've listened to Dara, Dieselboy, Ak1200 since the mid 90's All are awesome and have dropped massive sets at parties I've been to. Sure Dara isn't as popular as the other two, but I would say he is more then just a well known local DJ which is how I read the comment.

reminds me of a rave I went to that Rob Gee was supposed to play at, when it came time for his set they came up and were like "hey so umm... Rob Gee couldn't make it because someone beat up his mom, umm yeah not cool, so someones gonna have to cover for him" and some other unknown DJ came up and spun during his timeslot.
I apparently saw AK1200 once but ended up falling into a hole if you will, at some point the place got raided and my friends luckily found me. goofd times

His music is a bit more demanding on the listener, people nowadays want to be spoon fed the same wobbles and drums. His percussion alone send people for a twist.
