I think if they hit the spring break times it will greatly inflate the boarding costs for everyone at the event, or at least I would assume so. Yeah, it would be sweet (Texas this year was boring as ****) but probably pricey.

Wouldn't be a bad idea especially in the place of Phoenix so it's not so hot

Galveston is great! Had a ton of teams show up. I know this year had the storm, but that is not the norm!
Bring back Mardi Gras open then! We need to have one near Texas / Louisana. A lot of teams in this area and right in the middle of the US.

i better hope, that they don't change the PSP MAO to the PSP New Jersey Open (save some money on gas) since i would rather drive an hour to the event then over 2 hours to the event

galveston had one storm on its second year(first was perfect) during a insanely bad drought for the whole state, the ground literally wasnt able to handle that much rain water

Heard the same thing, Rob. Galveston weather is still better than Chicago weather. Everyone is hating on Galveston because of ONE freak storm, but almost every year, Chicago gets crapped on and everyone complains about how crappy it is, etc.
PSP cannot control the weather. I can tell you right now, Galveston would be better than Los Angeles because of costs. You would pay twice as much for flights and hotels going there, unless you live there. Galveston is cheap by comparison.
Let's wait and see what PSP has in store for us.

LA is a big place, so it depends on where you would have it. It would likely have to be in Pomona again or one of the outer areas of LA. Out there though, you can find hotels for a decent price. You also have a few different airports to fly into.

I don't care where they are at. But if you have 5 events, why are they so damn early in the year... I would love to play all of the events but as a student I already can't work that much during the semester. Having to pay for NCPA Nationals in April and 2 PSP events within 2 months sucks. Getting time out from classes and work for those is a *****. It's just so bad for college students. Spread one away from NCPA Nationals and push the other one back into July.
