Bob Long G6r really efficient, smooth shot and quiet. Next in line BL Vice but the closeness of the reg makes this second place.

Contrary to popular belief, an Ion is pretty damned simple compared to an Ego and getting to the bolt really isn't much of a chore.

You mean it gets simpler than pulling up and removing the rammer with no tools at all...? Please do not make inaccurate comparisons or ones where you cannot be refuted indefinitely.

My favorite marker ever owned
I'm gonna have to go two ways with this sine I've been ballin since 1997! My favorite mechanical gun has to be my 2000 autococker with a kapp drop forward, gen x2 reg, dye frame with a dye boomstick! For electronic guns i would have to say my 07 PE ego with a cp trigger! Both guns shot amazing!

Speaking of inaccuracies, do you mean the bolt? Way to sound smart.
EDIT: Also, the OP never said it was easier to get to the bolt of an Ion than getting the bolt out of an Ego. He said the Ion was simpler in general, which it is.

^^he did say it was simple compared to an ego. Pulling up removes the bolt, and you can remove the rammer with no tools in several guns......akward. I see that your trying but lets get real, I don't think there is another gun out there that is designed with a more difficult way to get to the bolt than the Ion.
Back on topic- My cyborg RX, absolute baby and has my dm12 running backup (ya I went there) and my ccm t2.

Rammer is the part name, which is essentially the bolt, therefore I used it appropriately. And I am sorry, but having owned an Ion and an Ego, I can say with certainty that the Ego pin pull and slide is waaaayyyyy easier than the time I had with my Ion bolt.

What? The rammer is not "essentially the bolt" it is a totally different part and is in the bottom tube where the bolt is in the top tube.

If we really want to spit technicalities, we are both wrong, it's a part of the bolt kit if we are to nitpick incessantly.

In the sense that a back cap on a DM is part of the bolt assembly as well then sure. The rammer is not the bolt, blueshifty is correct on this one. There are, as I said, guns though that can have the rammer removed sans tools.

In that case I concede my terminology error. However, my point stands, that there are markers whose bolts are easier to remove than an Ion.

Hell yes there are, i cant believe this was even in question. The ion hands down the the most annoying and tedious gun to remove the bolt. The XE was totally worth price difference when they introduced it.

Lol. I am not wrong about this in any way whatsoever. There is no "bolt kit" the bolt is a stand alone part, the rammer is a stand alone part and the poppet is a stand alone part.

Rammer is typically an ego terminology (other poppets just use the term "ram") and the DM has no rammer, ram or even a poppet so the "bolt assembly" isn't even comparable.
MacDev cyborgs are stacked tube poppets that don't require tools to remove the ram...
