Etek2 LPR tuning?

So I've gotten my hands on an Etek2 and I have ZERO idea what I'm doing when it comes to LPR adjustment. I'm very well versed in single regulated guns and autococker LPRs, but not a standard stacked tube poppet LPR.

Someone mind explaining what I should do to set my LPR?

try to set it at factory default (it should be in the manual)
2 turn from flush in newer guns so you can try that first

I've looked through the manual and haven't found anything on the LPR, but I've got it set at 2 turns in.

The guy I just bought my Etek 3 from suggested this;
1: Set both regs to flush
2: Adjust HPR till you crono 300-305 fps
3: Adjust LPR till you crono around 285-295 fps

I'm not sure if this is the correct procedure but the logic makes sense to me. If this method is incorrect please advise me of the correct way to set the regs.

This is an Etek 2, not an Etek 3.

The difference is in the reg, the ETek3 uses the S3 regulator, while the Etek2 uses an older design from 2007.

OK I figured it might be the same procedure sine PE recommends my LPR to be at two turns from flush also.

If I wasn't scared of my manifold exploding (it's held together by JB weld while I wait for a new one) I'd try your advice, but I'm trying to get it near right the first time.

When I took mine out on saturday all I did was set the LPR 2 turns from flush (as recomended by PE) and use the hpr achieve my desired crono FPS. I did it this way as the field I went to put a 275 FPS cap on semi's and 300 FPS for pumps. Maybe this method will work for you.

All info here is misleading. Etek 2's stock LPR setting is FLUSH with the regulator tip, putting it 2 turns in puts you at risk for lower cycle speeds and inconsistency. With everything stock, adjust your HPR to chrono, and leave the LPR flush. Unless you want to dwell tune you can turn the LPR in small increments until you notice a velocity change then go back out.
