Well, wow... $900 difference and you're still considering a Geo? The geo really isn't a good spool. The MacDev drone out performs it at half the price, so if you are looking at an axe vs spool you should look there. Geos used prices will drop like a rap album soon with the release of the Geo3 and if you insist on being an agglet then wait a while and pick up a used Geo2.1.

All said a clone vx used or a vanguard demon are the 2 best spools out IMO. (Since the luxe is too long for comfort.)

I had heard xsv went the entire Huntington beach event without a single break....the Axe's main feature to me is that it never breaks paint

breaking paint is random....top end gun or low end if you get a bad batch you will be a blender Regardless the make of marker.

Not true at all if you're suggesting that all markers handle paint similarly. The axe, especially with a boss bolt (like xsv and infamous use) is amazingly gentle with fragile paint. Guns like the Dye NT are pretty rough on brittle paint.

if you tune the axe properly (1 1/2 turns out on backcap and around 155-160psi on the reg, you'll get a shooter that beats the complete **** out of the geo. the geo isn't a very good shooter anyways.
some midend spools shoot better than the geo

Really and honestly save you money for the only gun u will ever need cus it's smoother than a luxe and clone gt!!! Just save up and get a machine vapor!!!

Machine Vapor is most definitely not "the only marker you'll ever need". They practically stole the Luxe design and called it their own. The Clone GT will seriously wreck the **** out of any marker and justifying a marker's performance by the price is the most ridiculous way to even judge a marker.

The Dye NT will give most of NT owners a problem, yet it was more expensive than the DM. How can that be explained? Because the price was higher, that automatically tells me it was the best marker that follows the Dye series? They don't even continue it anymore.

Same thing with the CSL. It's WAY more than an original Ego 11, yet it's the same exact principle.

Price =/= quality. That's also the point of having price ranges. When someone asks for a good quality marker at the mid/low price range, you don't just blurt out "JUST SAVE MONEY FO' A VAPOR". Like someone is going to save up $500 to $1650 and still stay sane to play paintball.

Ive owned both !! my axe shot amazing but now i shot a pink lady geo 2.1 and it shoots and feels even better for me !! if you have the extra quaters get the geo but if not the axe is still a solid performer !

If you do get the axe, then you might want a better barrel, like a boomstick, or a freak kit. Geo 2.1 has a good barrel, except you might want more bore sizes.
