Can you elaborate? I was thinking of buying from tmg, but this sort of thing is a bit unnerving.

the way i understand it.
gun wasnt posted for sale on the site but he asked if they had one. they said something to the effect as "yeah but i cant get it to cycle, yours for cheap no warenty" he got the gun and blah balh balh i bought it and fixed it up pretty well. small leak i thought was coming from the cupseal, checked under the eye cover and found a bunch of jb weld covering up the hole. TMG was the last known "owner" of the gun when it was "worknig" but they go through the gear and they darn well knew there was jb weld covering something or else they put the jb on it themselves.

If the gun was not posted, then nothing to worry about.
Trade My Gun has always been good to my teammates. The guns we have gotten from them have yet to ever go down or have any issues.

Well they did admit it had issues......and wouldn't be covered. That would have scared me off. I guess the OP took a gamble and lost. Oh well. It may still turn out ok in the end.......I hope.

yeah, fixable but any fix is a gamble :/ i just think its irresponsible to sell it at all. they KNEW it had jb weld there, MENTION IT when you sell it. "oh it has issues but can be fixed" is a liars way of saying "it has jb weld covering a hole in the body to the lpr line" big big diference

Hahah plus if it actually works I'm sure there would be hope for a lot of other guys who have broken guns of various kinds.

TMG has great service, but in all honesty it makes no sense that they could've missed something like that

oh hmm... idk... the stuff is pretty resilient if used right, like i said, spend the $5-$10 it costs for like 3 tubes of it, and test it out.

From what I saw in the telemarketing ads.........the most important thing is to sort of kneed it well enough to mix the two components properly before you stick it on. Don't forget to use proper form when doing this .
