i have an elia ul milled that is really similar to greekgods with the big extra windows. it weighs less than the gmaxs barely but not quite as light as the watermelon shego. thats the lightest one i have seen.
someone a few months ago in sotm had some wierd PLish shocker they claimed was the lightest but he never posted a weight and it didnt look like anything major had been done

no...it was something sort of similar to a UL mill i think. iirc it was a team edition. too lazy to go look. i asked him to post a weight and lost interest when he didnt. that rl looks light but could lose more in the vasa and frame.

no doubt its light but the body still has some meat to it. until someone makes the body as thin as possible and then cuts out all the windows possible or cs does the carbon thing i doubt anything will be lighter than the shego above

i know most of those type things are rated really high but after time they would surely degrade...i doubt most people would like the idea of pressurized plastic and if you made it really thick or reinforced i would think it would be just as heavy. but someone else would be better to answer that im just talking out my *** in speculation. i know my tequila sunrise had a perfect lexan sleeve that cracked after a while of just being a wall hanger fwiw

DP revi's have a clear plastic sleeve that houses the bolt. It's pretty small though, about the size of a freak insert. That material seems to hold up well.

a totally clear shocker would be an interesting concept...i think carbon fiber might be a better plan...but i don't know...

I think a clear shocker body, clear can, clear sleeve and an Eigen/ATLas bolt would be a sick *** gun, and honestly even if it was as heavy as a stock sft shocker it would still have a **** ton of cool points...and remember guys that's all that counts about your gun, not weight/speed/rarity...its all about the cool points...LOL J/K
