Have any of you played hitman absolution yet?

I'm about 30 minutes in, it's a lot of fun. Graphics are smooth and clean on ultra. I'm sure a GTX680 helps, but its a visually pleasing game.

Just recently started getting lag, so I did a Windows Repair (with the Windows Install CD) and fixed it. Now, all of a sudden, all of my Games are lagging again. Is this a HDD issue?

I'm having a lot of fun with the game, too. A lot of the reviews I was reading said the game wasn't very good, etc., etc., but I think it's very well done. Different from Hitman: Blood Money, yes, but Blood Money isn't the definition of a Hitman game. I'm a bit sad there aren't as many hits you do in this game since it's more of a sneak around and away from the police type of thing, but Contracts mode more than makes up for it.

I gave it a shot myself but was getting absolutely destroyed. Decided to take a break from it to return to CS:GO and Skyrim.

Yeah, I'm just enjoying the story right now. I've played the same segments 3 or 4 times because of how different each path you take is.

I took a break too but now everyone is even better than before

Try different modes and it gets a little better!

Yeah, I have to say that's usually the deal breaker for me with any multiplayer FPS these days. I tend to steer clear from them for this reason unless they have decent match-making. I play them quite casually and hate getting destroyed by those who have honed their skills.

One of the best FTP games I've tried. Although I did drop $10 on it so I could get all the classes.

I had that same problem. Check your firewall. If that doesn't work there's a file you can delete but I'll have to look it up.

I shut off the firewall and it didn't help, but then I uninstalled avast and installed avira instead. now everything works.

Re-reading it I didn't get what the problem was haha. but that's interesting with avast! I've been using it for years and never had any problems with steam or any other applications. What avast were you running?

7.0 free version. I was playing killing floor one night and at 4am it just crashed saying lost connection, so I went to bed. Couple days later hop on steam and notice every time I launch a game steam cuts off for a split sec and wont let me play.

Saw that early in the week, that's probably one of the best Humble Bundles I've seen yet! I was snagging each one of them up for quite a while and then backed off since I was only playing one or two of the games in each.

Don't forget you can play against bots if the servers aren't too busy. I couldn't hold my ground online so I'd always play against bots and still do every once in a while. Worth the $7 in my opinion.

Almost daily, it's a bit outdated and the graphics aren't that good compared to newer games but it has mods second only to garys mod. Prepare to get destroyed online if you are new to extremly fast paced games.
