(thc)GunSmoke, I noticed in the pictures that you have an extra trigger pin installed to cover up the hole where the stock trigger would use.

I am also using a VP trigger and that hole is currently open. Did you use a trigger pin from the vx? I just searched for parts in the MD store and did not see a trigger pin in the GT section, but did see one for the vx.

Just wanted to make sure before placing an order.

I love the color combo of your gun. And is that your back yard? What a beautiful place to get to shoot

Did any of you notice a "double click" when using the VP trigger? If I take slow pulls the the switch registers two pulls and double fires, it is weird.

Figured you would know Dana, seeing as you've had both:

Do regular Clone grips work on the GT? Not digging the hard plastic...

Oh yeah!

What are the texture on the stock clone grips like? More traditional "squishy" texture?

Good enough for me. That's my only complaint about the GT; the grips kind of "cheapen" it to me. I can see how some people would like them, but I usually associate plastic grips with like a JT Velociraptor 3000 TurbomaXXX

They actually feel decent to me. I mean they are still rubber, just a harder rubber. To each their own I guess, but I like the fact that they seem like they won't wear out. Fortunately, grips are one of those "preference" things, and you can always replace them
