2 days after a full charge it will be fully drained without use is

I suggest a new battery, they wear out over time from charging cycles. Should hold a charge much longer than that. Thankfully the batteries are CHEAP compared to how many 9v you would have used.
Messaged you also, but if the battery does not fix the problem you may have moisture on the board which is draining the battery down. Sounds like the battery though.
