Not true. You can snap shoot, but sometimes it may be difficult depending on the gun you have.

If you want to snap shoot you'll want a small, light gun with great trigger response. Something like an MP5K or similar is a good gun. To get awesome trigger response you'll need a high torque motor, a mosfet, and a strong battery.

Plus, you can't say Airsofters don't have as much firepower as Paintballers when a single hi-cap M4 mag holds over 2x as much as a standard hopper. Other than that, your comparison is pretty dead on.
But don't you have to spin those gay little wheels to feed more bb's? Idk I used to play air soft but then I got into paintball. I got better until I got a clone gt and I must say paintball is so much more fun than air soft. Paintball is more of a fast paced sport as airsoft is a slow hobby. My paintball field just built a 1:1 remake of nuke town from call of duty and it's amazing search paintball explosion on Facebook. Oh and if you sponsored you pay like 15 to 20 bucks for premium tournament paint.

Paintball wins in that catagory. We have bullet shaped munition with air stabilizing fin and rifled barrel to match the fins for more accurate shots. This means shots over 300 feet without having to arc. How do we feed these Rounds know as first strikes? Well we have mag fed guns. Search up paradigm pro made by milsig more durable than any of your airsoft guns. Search up dye dam. And look at Tiberius t4, t9.1 sniper, and t8.1. These just name a few that I have shot but there are many, many more. On top of this our big games are a lot better. Living legends 6 1000 vs 1000 with mortars, miniguns, jeeps, rocket/grenadelaunchers, and more.

Airsoft is more realistic than paintball. That's a big reason people play it. Paintball has some realistic mag fed guns but when you htink of paintball thats not what you think of. I think what is more reallistic than both is milsim. Those are the games with vehicles and mortars. That is what more airsofters are leanig towards now. So much that they gave it a new name.

Airsoft is boring imo. I remember the last time I went everyone was in military uniform, yelling, giving me commands and i'm just thinking "jesus, it's a game."

it felt like roleplay. i know people like realism, but I know that I'm not in the military, so why do I need to act like I am? i just don't find realism all that fun.

I like paintball where YOU have to instruct yourself instead of being instructed by tryhard "commanders". why would I want to be told what to do in an activity? I want to provide my own skill set.

I just find airsoft the most boring thing in the world. i feel you need a VERY good imagination to play it. just my opinion though

Paintball id best played both sports not that airsoft is really a sport more like a hobby. airsoft is really filled with 10 year old cheaters who are scared to get hit with a bb let alone a paintball if they ever play. also how many airsoft fields are their.... none all paintball!!! airsoft you spend 20 buck for 5000 bbs but also they spend like 2000$ so you have ten year old kids in 2000+ $ in gear. paintball you spend 60 for 2000 paintballs and you are good for a whole day of play.
so what is better paintball is better

After playing PB for 10 years and airsoft for 5, they're a draw for me. Paintball has the arena like speedball setting but airsoft excels for that milsim itch. The price makes a difference, as well as to what level you can customize your weapon. There are more airsoft guns out there than pb guns, airsofters are more mature in my experience, although most airsofters aren't as skilled. Every time i go play airsoft i treat it like paintball, i play very aggressively and gunfight like i do in paintball. Airsoft ****s on pb as far as range goes. Although i've been shot up at 400fps from 4 ft away and it definitely hurts more than 300fps paintball, regardless of projectile mass. Paintball has a lot of rich kids brandishing GEO's making fun of my Marq6 or prostock pump, the ignorance CAN be real. Airsoft has a lot of COD kids but they're usually just there to play out their favorite videogame in their head. I can't call a winner, they're combat sports but facilitate different styles of play and draw much different crowds. Athleticism vs Milsim/Tactics. One thing airsoft has over paintball are snipers, getting a kill at 200+ feet is a great feeling EDIT: Just noticed i contributed to a preposterously necro thread lol
