Hello nation. In sitting here with my gun torn apart and trying to figure out which oring goes where.
Long story short, i got a boss bolt about 6 months ago and I wanted to change the orings as I was having a bit of problems. Ill get to that later

My main question is. I have the bolt sitting here with a set of the orings. (The xsv ones) now my problem is I'm sitting here with 4 o rings and have no idea where they go. I have the 2 larger ones that are the same size and the two smaller ones with one being darker than the other. I'm so confused as to where they go. I never got a little paper saying what goes where and I can't find it online. I'm sitting here with my gun all opened up and I need help.


Now my problem with the gun is its set 1.5 turns out, 5 dwell, long spring. a little over 160and it will shoot 290 +\- 4 and then once I shoot a rope, the speed will bump down to 250. Afterwards with the pressure still at a little over 160, it shoots 270 +\- 4 then it will slowly creep back up to 280 +/-4 i sometimes have to crank it to almost 180

Edit! I should add that when I took off the 2 back orings, the 1st one (not the very back one) was smaller than the back one. Any reason for this? I was told the smallest was in the back

Your second problem sounds like your reg. A few drops of paintball oil into your reg might help that out.

It's a brand new reg. I was having the same problems at cup.

It does sound like a reg or tank reg issue. But what kind of lube are you using on the bolt? And what is the temp where you are playing now?

Was using the stock line but using hater sauce. Tried a different tank.same problem.
Could I have over lubed the gun?

If you have a pro shop nearby your home/work, look for Gold Cup Oil (or something similar, just don't put any petroleum based oil products in it. PAINTBALL SPECIFIC OIL ONLY !!!!), place two drops of this in your relay then air it up and cycle the oil through the reg.

Could have over lubed it. When was the last time you cleaned and lubed your poppet? I prefer Sleek lube.

I was having some drop on mine after ramping like you... I went to Academy and picked up a small bottle of JT Paintball gun oil (3.50$) and put 2 drops in my ASA and ran 2 hoppers full through and started seing it balance out. Oil seems to work I wanted to go and get some GoldCup but we only have one local shop and they are close on Sundays and like to charge an armand a leg!
