No one will make boards for the renegade, it doesn't have a window on the left side, meaning gripframes need to be modded. The Ape Oled even had to be modified to fit since the frame really only takes Hater UL boards.
Idk I still don't think a barrel is a big deal.. Most people have kits anyway

second one is horrible imho.
First one is getting there. I like them a bit more verticaly, if that makes sense.
Also, the second swoop shouldn't be as pronounced and drawn back, the top one should reach down a little more, then curve forwards more sharply. that peak between the two cures should be smaller, though.
I commend you on the work, though. They look fantastically executed.

Hey demo do you think you could make some super thin cf grip panels for the quest? That'd be sick, would definately pay good money for some custom grips and trigger.

So I've been thinking and I decided to try to redesign the Quest's lpr assembly, I know it's a rough sketch but it's just an idea. (Reasoning below the picture)
While the design my seem completely backwards here is my thinking. By lengthening the assembly it allows for more room to grip the front of the gun (more of a personal preference and will work well with shorter regs such as cp) and it also allows for stock regs to have the macroline oriented towards the back since there is now more room between the trigger frame and regulator port. I bet almost anybody who has owned or even held a quest will agree that the lpr is kind of award the way it is positioned on the gun, so why not move it elsewhere. By extending the assembly forward we can more efficiently use the length of the upper body assembly and also make the gun more ergonomically pleasing like a luxe or G6R (stretched out from grip to reg). Now you may ask how will the lpr get air to the solenoid? Well you could try to reroute it to the current port but I think it could be easier to just tap the lpr air tube already present in the frame. The old lpr to body port could be used to make a spot for the gauge in the front of the new lpr block or one could be milled into the area above where the schrader valve is currently placed.
If you read all this I appreciate it and hopefully I will be able too do some more accurate designs over my christmas break.

Interesting idea. Where does the barrel go? Thought never crossed my mind as the current position of the lpr suits me fine really. should start a thread so I can follow it there.
Bearings are an option yea. I don't have any but they can be bought and pressed in. ... but again I'm not in the trigger making buisness I'm just making a few for fun

What do you mean where does the barrel go? I know your not making barrels for money just curious if you could hook up a few people here since there appears to be an interest in them.

well the front of the quest body is basically the barrel exiting, right? I'm just trying to picture the big picture of your idea with how it will look and work.

I have an idea.
Take after the NXT VAs, but with a little zazzing up.
I've been thinking about doing that for a long time.
DING DING DING
D-Lite
Magno Valve Assembly
2.7? I think it's stock, actually, Board.
Booster Bolt
Dr. Strangelove's wired laser eyes
CP ASA
St!ffi
hubba hubba
also:
That latest trigger pic looks much better imho.
I like how you made it come out in the back. If you make it slightly thicker, and can help prevent paint from getting into the electronics.

The lpr assembly will be flush with the line of the body below the barrel, the lpr wont extend beyond the existing line of the body. Also I noticed you picked up a quest body and frame, what are you gonna use those for?
Edit: not to scale but just so you get the idea

OOOH, see if you can get something on there that will let the LPR sit vertically atop the HPR and match the milling of it while jutting out a bit to give finger room.
I think that, mounted with a Creed or A1 HPR would look dankalicious.

I was thinking about possibly making it like that but then it would raise the problem of adjusting the lpr while using the gun. Personally I think the way it is with the lpr in the back is the best ergonomic option but its gonna be a pain in the rear to route the lp air without modifying the body itself. Will do some more in depth measurements and drawings when I get some times this weekend.

Damn, I have drawings somewhere that reworked the quest like that. I tried to make it macroless, but that involved a new gripframe,Lpr and Hpr =/
