So what's with PBNation's facebook page making fun of fat ballers?

They are paintball players also, seems like a post like that would discourage large players from the sport in fear of being made fun of.

Kind of a low blow in my opinion.

I'm right with you here this post has gone to far I'm deliking there page I will never have anything to do with pbnation. I'm a big guy and I have shot out many smaller guys speedballers and woodballers and this post is just wrong.

I posted a thread in the talk to the mods/admin forum. PBN is all about hypocrisy. If that was posted by a member here it would have been deleted and the person banned/infracted.

This is their response, I guess posting a picture of someone doing a fail dive and making fun of fat ballers is the same thing. I guess making fun of a guy with one leg is next since it's all in good fun.

It's not really a joke when it's making fun of someone. If they posted a picture of a guy with one leg playing and we made captions about it. That would be a joke also?

I think you are really misinterpreting the intentions behind that post. I don't think it is at all making fun of the players weight. The comment about the dark side having cookies is a quote, and often repeated joke having nothing to do with obesity. I honestly believe that the poster (I think its John) had the best intentions in mind when he posted that. However, I can see where somebody would take it offensively. I can also see where it may not be wise to post something like that to PBNation members, who are notoriously harsh.

In regards to the guy who is in the picture seeing it, it doesn't seem like he was offended. In fact, I bet he likes being on the nation page. I know I would. Just because he is heavy doesn't mean that is the intention of the picture. Further, he was intended to see the picture as he was tagged in it. I wouldn't be surprised if he knew it was going up before it did, or even told nation it was okay.

Yes, they were tagged in it by other people that they know, not PBN. You can mouse over the tag and it shows who put the tag. Either way, it's making fun of ballers, he might be fine with it, but other heavy ballers aren't. I'm not a heavy baller, I don't even play really. I just think it's sad to see a big time company like PBN posting stuff like this to make fun of someone.

Like I said before, let's post a picture of a guy with one leg or one eye and make pirate caption jokes. It's the same thing, they're making fun of players. Even if the guy in the photo didnt take offense, which you don't know if he did or not, just because he isn't on the picture posting hate doesn't mean he wasn't offended to some extent, I'm sure people making fat jokes isn't making him feel too great.

I honestly did not take it as a fat joke originally. That quote is from a years old movie or something. I heard it WAYYYY before this picture. I can see how it's taken that way though, but I'm a big person too. No one is harder on me than myself. I'm 40 years old 6'2" and 310 pounds. I can still take you out of your bunker from the back. But partially thanks to paintball, I can run around the field. I started off between 350 and 360 pounds. They are doing good being out there and more than likely enjoying it as they seem to have invested in the game. I'm sure they have heard worse off the field.

Honestly, If you guys have nothing else to do but make a thread complaining about something they posted on facebook, then I think you live a sad life. People need to grow some thicker skin. Do the people that are doing the fail dives make a thread saying "waahhhh! this is me in the picture! it huuuurrrtttss my feelings"? Learn to laugh at yourself, its healthy. You can tell no discrimination was meant by posting the picture, its all in good fun. Now take your tears somewhere else

like I said before, it's no different than making fun of someone missing an arm or something. People do take offense, just because you don't, doesn't mean others dont.
