In another couple of months, things along the coreward will move back to normal (or as normal as those Blake-forsaken shores can get) and then perhaps the spinward edge of the Sphere will start yapping about strange happenin’s…’cause when it comes to the Periphery, there will always be strange happenin’s.

Oh, got you. Also the nerf for the Gauss has been announced and will be put in next week.

The hit points of the GR itself will be reduced, meaning that once the armor on the section it's in is stripped, the GR will be very vulnerable to being destroyed. In addition they are increasing the chance of the GR ammo exploding causing catastrophic internal damage so that if the GR gets destroyed, it's very likely that the ammo will explode. CASE will be an almost must when running GRs now.

i dont have a problem with the GR. i have a problem with the cat being able to mount 2 on its tiny side torsos

Yea, it's supposed to be, but not in this game I guess.

I honestly think they should raise the weight and amount of crit slots that the gauss takes up to match the AC/20. That would limit the number of mechs that can mount it and the distance and projectile speed would be an acceptable trade off for the reduced damage compared to the AC/20.

got the yellow screen today, probably the worst glitch ive seen so far:



no hud and you cant see ****. nor can you tell between friend and foe. ive also had 2 games where ive suddenly become stuck and i dont think there was someone behind me keeping me from moving.

I got stuck in overheating shut down screen last night. No HUD and everything was red but I could still shoot. Luckily I overheated again and it went back to normal.

Lag seems to be pretty terrible right now. Mostly from other people I think. My ping is generally around the high 30s to low 40s, but most of the people I drop with are well over 100ms. Hope the net code updates get finished soon.

thats happened to me 3-6 times. there is a power button. cant remember the default binding

So how does explosive gauss rifle ammo even exist?


If it is a giant magnetic rail gun, like stated, would not it be shooting a high density magnetic plasma ball? Also if it shoots a magnetically charged ammunition why does it not home in on it's target... Just imagine a guass cat with ammo that is magnetically drawn to the target!

The rails are magnetized - not the ammunition. Its a solid slug. The amount of kinetic force it hits with would be enough to cause the equivalent to an explosion.

Look up "us navy rail gun" for a video explaining the mechanics

Yea, I know, but I was in the tunnel on frozen city with 2 enemy mechs right in front of me. I decided to just try and shoot with no crosshairs, rather than get blasted while I cycled through the power sequence.

I think the bug has something to do with pressing the Override Shutdown button at a certain time during an overheat.

ok, i say its 2nd to the overheat glitch, but at least with that one i could usually power down and it would quit. overall i really havent had that many glitchy games. maybe im just lucky.

i dernt knew howz ta taks scrinshoots. print screen button always just takes a pic of my desktop backround
